### 1/5 — Map Restrict does not work, Kogan LX14 Robovac

The Map restriction capability does nothing, the unit still proceeds to enter no go zones, and the thing maps anything it sees thru glass,  You can’t really edit the map manually, and all the rooms are called unnamed and you cant rename them. You really wonder who designs and programs this stuff, certainly there is a lack of testing, a lack of messages to indicate what’s going on, and a lack of generally best practice user interface design.

Feb 2026 (release of V7.1.2) I lost the ability to edit scenes or automations (nothing but a spinning loading wheel). I have tried: clearing cache, logging out/in, deleting/reinstalling app, trying a different device. I rely heavily on the ability to edit, so losing it makes this app nearly useless.

UPDATE: July 2026. Fixed, I can edit scenes again.

Ok, im so over battling with this app. 1 star . I click for the robovac to start and nothing happens, this was already a problem, but now there is a stupid beep sound in the app while it still does nothing Another particular gripe is , as the thing maps anything it sees thru glass, the restricted area edits i added later to for instance block my garden from the map. do not do anything. you hit save, wait and then the map goes back to how it looked with no indication of the restricted area.  You can’t really edit the map manually, and all the rooms are called unnamed and you cant rename them. You really wonder who designs and programs this stuff, certainly there is a lack of testing, a lack of messages to indicate what’s going on, and a lack of generally best practice user interface design.

I have been using this app for over 4 years and it was working great. But its been couple of month, i can no longer edit the scene created. Tried adding and removing device, scene, clearing cache, everything possible but still cannot edit the scene. It shows loading icon and stuck there. Contacting app support is no use, keeps asking the same question. Never buying any smart device from Kogan. Kogan is not a reliable company anymore.
