It does not connect my vaccum to my iPhone. ### 1/5 — Not a smart App *2025-02-09, version 5.16.1* The robotic smart vacuum is ok but requires ALOT of micro-managing, eg, needs frequent assistance manually clearing the onboard dust box (doesn’t like crumbs), struggles to find home base then gives up searching. Then the app requires sooo much micro-managing. Every time I open the app we seem to have new extensions to the house according to the app map, doesn’t get smarter with each clean, the pattern is chaotic at best, room select doesn’t work (select vacuum bedrooms it mops the corridor), set up timed vacuums and it doesn’t do them. I make sure before each vacuum the entire house has nothing on the floor except permanent furniture, I even pick up and stack kids furniture. This is on top of the Map resetting every month, an I have then go merge/seperate rooms, which is a nightmare when it works or you just give up realising in 3-4weeks the drawn map will reset anyway. I was half way through a full house clean yesterday and lost the map, couldn’t find my manually saved maps, the App deleted those. Wish we could return it. And it’s not a wifi issue as the whole house FULL bars of wifi connectivity. ### 3/5 — Needs independent brightness control *2025-01-26, version 5.16.1* Not good on OLED screens, night vision is just a black screen even with light ### 4/5 — Used too much phone space *2025-01-10, version 5.16.1* Been using the app for a while and it’s good …only one thing I think it reeeeaaallly needs is a setting which you can choose to save all media directly to iCloud so it doesn’t save them in your phone because at the moment it’s using over ten gigs of data and filling my phone memory . You really wonder who designs and programs this stuff, certainly there is a lack of testing, a lack of messages to indicate what’s going on, and a lack of generally best practice user interface design. ### 1/5 — Confusing *2026-06-16, version 7.6.1* Ok, im so over battling with this app. 1 star . I click for the robovac to start and nothing happens, this was already a problem, but now there is a stupid beep sound in the app while it still does nothing Another particular gripe is , as the thing maps anything it sees thru glass, the restricted area edits i added later to for instance block my garden from the map. do not do anything. you hit save, wait and then the map goes back to how it looked with no indication of the restricted area. You can’t really edit the map manually, and all the rooms are called unnamed and you cant rename them. I have tried: clearing cache, logging out/in, deleting/reinstalling app, trying a different device. But its been couple of month, i can no longer edit the scene created. Tried adding and removing device, scene, clearing cache, everything possible but still cannot edit the scene. It shows loading icon and stuck there. Contacting app support is no use, keeps asking the same question. Never buying any smart device from Kogan. Lights, curtains and garage door. The easy to set scenarios are great to close curtains at a set time before dusk etc. Timers are also very easy to set and use.
