## What is Koine Bible Reader?

Koiné is a gentle, tap-to-read introduction to Biblical (Koine) Greek. Open a passage, tap any word, and instantly see its meaning, dictionary form, full parsing, and a plain-English grammar note — no flipping through a lexicon.

FEATURES
• Tap any word for an instant gloss: English meaning, lemma (dictionary form), part of speech, and full parsing — e.g. "verb · aorist passive subjunctive · 3rd sg"
• Beginner-friendly grammar notes that explain every parsing term in plain English
• Colour-coding by part of speech, with a key you can toggle off
• Interlinear mode: stack the English gloss, transliteration, dictionary form, parsing, and Strong's number under each Greek word — choose the lines you want
• Read side by side with the King James Version, or with the English under each verse
• Make it yours: text size, serif or sans Greek, line spacing, and Light, Sepia, or Dark pages
• The whole Greek New Testament, with search, bookmarks, and a reading streak
• Built-in study passages, including John 1:1–5 and Revelation 20:7–15
• Flashcards and quizzes to build your vocabulary
• Add your own readings from a photo using on-device OCR — offline, free, and private
• Runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac

Whether you're starting first-year Greek or coming back to it, Koiné lets you learn by reading the text itself.
