Not helpful when you’re really trying to learn. **Developer response:** Hi Smileyshelby, you’re absolutely right. If you say something clearly wrong, Koko should mark it incorrect and ask you to try again, not move you forward. We found a lesson flow that could advance even after an incorrect speaking attempt, and we’re fixing it so learners get a clear correction and another chance to practice. However, every lesson would eventually begin crashing and shutting the app off. I tried redownloading, updating, etc and it just constantly would crash. What has differentiated Koko from other Korean language learning apps for me is that it also teaches some casual speech and colloquial terms, while other apps focus only on polite/formal speech. I also really like how bite-sized but useful the roleplay simulations are. Recently though, I haven't been able to make any progress. I'll do the first card lesson of a simulation (sometimes it lets me do the first two) and then it doesn't let me proceed and also doesn't save my progress, so I've literally been doing the same card lesson over and over for the past ~5 days now. However, I can’t even get through one lesson without it freezing up on me. I constantly have to delete and reload the app just to continue with my lessons.
