## What is Kolasky?

Record an observation
Start with a photo, video, audio recording, written note, dream record, or directional track.
UAPA can automatically preserve available information such as:
Time
Location
Direction
Device status
Field measurements
Describe what you saw, where it appeared, how long it lasted, and how it moved or changed.
You can add interpretations later.
The original observation comes first.

Build your personal archive
Every observation becomes an individual record.
Organize and search your archive by:
Time
Location
Category
Media type
Observation status
Return to an observation later, add new material, and keep track of how your understanding changes over time.
Something that cannot be identified today may become clearer through future comparison and research.

Explore public observations
Browse observations voluntarily shared by other users.
Find:
Records from similar times or locations
Observations with similar shapes or movement
Unusual lights, atmospheric events, sounds, and aerial phenomena
New information added to existing records
A single observation is a personal experience.
Many comparable observations may reveal a pattern.

Use device measurements and AI-assisted analysis
UAPA can use supported device capabilities to preserve direction, orientation, location, and other available field data.
AI can help:
Describe visible features
Compare similar observations
Suggest possible matches
Rule out some common objects
AI provides references, not conclusions.
A single image cannot confirm the true distance, altitude, speed, or identity of a remote object.
UAPA does not present uncertainty as certainty.

Private by default
Your observations belong to you.
New records are saved locally by default
Precise locations can be blurred or hidden
Original media and public copies are managed separately
Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it
Sensitive location and device data can be removed before publishing
Keep your archive private or contribute a processed record to the public archive when you are ready.

More than UFOs
UFO and UAP observations are important parts of UAPA, but they are not the only focus.
UAPA can also be used to record:

Coordinated Observation is here. Join a session created on Mac and record alongside up to three devices on the same local network.
Added on-device appearance screening with full-image, region, and tiled analysis. Images stay on your device, and results are candidate hints only.
You can now import photos and videos from Files, with improved archive filters, media organization, and privacy handling.
Also refined onboarding, observation records, and overall stability.

- Added free local network connectivity with Mac.
- Use the iPhone or iPad as a live extension input for Mac.
- Stream magnetic, motion, pressure, and vibration data to Mac.
