Application downloaded, account created just fine but after figuring out what we wanted we got all the way to payment and neither Apple Pay nor credit card worked. Tried a couple times on my phone and again on wife’s phone and all failed. Kiosks in train station were happy to take the same credit card. Tried one more time for return trip and same problem. I give 2 stars instead of a total failure because it is still useful for looking up routes. **Developer response:** What sort of card do you have? It’s best to email us at help@koleo.pl – we’ll check and get back to you. ### 3/5 — Apple Pay does not work *2026-07-06, version 4.0.1* Now the app is useless, It is impossible to buy a ticket because there is a problem with Apple Pay . ### 5/5 — Good Polish Train App *2026-06-01* KOLEO takes the craziness out of the many apps one would need to get around on trains in Poland. Easy interface and it allows you to purchase tickets on the app which is a time saver and takes out the questions. The price for tickets appears to the same as when booking through a respective train application which makes it nice because you don’t have to look at several different apps. Nie sposób wyłączyć oferty, bzdura numer 1. Po ładnych kilku próbach postanowiłem kupić bilety pojedyńczo. Ok, szło gładko. Za każdym razem wybrałem miejsce, aby siedzieć obok siebie. Uff, bilety kupione. Po sprawdzeniu biletów okazało się, że aplikacja przydzieliła nam przypadkowe miejsca (mimo że w schemacie wybrane przeze mnie miejsca oznaczone były jako wolne), każde w innym wagonie. Zalosne ### 1/5 — Don’t use this app! Unclear and avoiding responsibility. *2026-06-09* I was in Poland traveling with my 70 year old mother trying to give her the trip she has always wanted. I booked a ticket from Warsaw to Krakow and at the end of booking I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to first class. I figured the price was reasonable and I wanted my mother to be comfortable for this 3 hour train ride. It wasn’t until after the tickets were purchased that they said “no seat guaranteed”. I figured that meant 1st class was general seating in that particular sector. When we arrived at the train we tried to sit in first class and we were told we didn’t have a seat. Puzzled, we moved to another seat that said “free” and were quickly told that was reserved. Long story short, the train employees told us that they often over sell tickets for those who don’t mind standing for the trip. I asked what I paid for then when I upgraded to “1st class”. They told me to take it up with Koleo. Koleo quickly denied responsibility and ignored my complaints of my 70 year old mother having to stand for 3 hours on a train. Koleo told me to take it up with PKP Intercity. I will never use Koleo again and you shouldn’t either. They will leave you without a seat and without a care at all about your trip! I stand by this review now more than before due to the incredibly poor customer service I have received from Koleo, including this defensive response from them which shows no intent of ratifying the situation, doing right by the customer, no empathy, or acknowledgement of accountability. Just a deflecting, defensive response. If you’re reading this, just use the PKP app, it’s easy to use, it’s official, and it didn’t leave my 71 year old mother standing for 3 hours like KOLEO did! **Developer response:** You purchased a ticket without a guaranteed first-class seat. This information was displayed before payment and was also included on the ticket you received. We have also provided evidence confirming that the message was visible during purchase. Therefore, it is not true that you were left without information or misled. You decided to purchase a ticket despite a clear message stating that a seat was not guaranteed. If this form of travel was not acceptable to you, the ticket could be returned or exchanged in accordance with applicable rules. KOLEO does not manage train seats, does not determine passenger attendance, and has no influence on the number of passengers traveling on a given train. We sell tickets on behalf of carriers, in this case PKP Intercity. Complaints regarding the execution of the journey are also handled by the carrier, not KOLEO. This is based on the carrier's regulations, which you accepted during purchase. The statement that KOLEO "leaves passengers without a seat" is factually incorrect. You purchased a ticket without a guaranteed seat, were informed of this prior to purchase, and accepted these travel conditions. Please do not hold KOLEO responsible for matters beyond our control and verify this review, as it is misleading to other users in its current form. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work 75% of the time *2026-06-06, version 3.5.1* Buggiest app I’ve ever used gives me errors nearly every time on various pages. I’ve tried logging in/out, reinstalling and nothing has changed it. I think the developers must have stopped supporting for latest IOS? ### 1/5 — Very difficult *2026-05-13, version 3.4.1* Very very difficult to use. You cant refund your ticket if you made a mistake as it won’t return to your card. The money are somewhere in the app. You cannot use it as if it’s not enough, cannot top up as there’s a minimum amount of 20. And I need only 2 to buy the stupid ticket. You cant return separately a childs ticket. Cant do anything basically. Money lost and time as well.
