## What is Kollo.?

Kollo brings everyone’s photos and videos from the same moment into one shared collection.

Create a collection for a trip, party, event, or everyday memory, then invite your friends to join. During the collection’s selected time window, eligible photos can sync automatically, helping everyone capture the experience from their own perspective.

With Kollo, you can:

• Create shared photo collections
• Invite friends to contribute
• Automatically sync eligible photos during live collections
• Add photos and videos manually at any time
• View each participant’s memories in one place
• Save photos you want to keep
• Manage who can access each collection
• Review, remove, or hide your own media

You stay in control of what you share. Photos taken before you join a live collection are not automatically synced, and older media is added only when you select it manually.

Kollo is made for the moments that are better remembered together.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-31

A major visual refresh for Kollo.

This update brings a more polished design across the app, with cleaner layouts, refined collection cards, improved dark mode, and smoother animations throughout.

Navigation now feels more fluid with improved slide-in and slide-out transitions, cleaner zoom animations, and more consistent interactions across profiles, collections, and creation flows.

We’ve also made a number of performance and reliability improvements behind the scenes to make Kollo feel faster and more responsive.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-27

Kollo - App

What's New in 1.0.2
* Group collections now support QR codes and shareable invite links — the same easy joining you already had for Events.
* Your invite QR code now shows up right away after creating a collection, so you can share it in one step.
* Auto-Sync is smarter about what it adds: Kollo now tries to leave out screenshots and photos saved or re-downloaded from other apps, so your collections stay full of real moments.
* Added on-device sensitive content screening for Auto-Sync — if something looks sensitive, it's held for your review before it ever uploads, so you're always in control of what gets shared.
* New, friendlier screens explain why Kollo asks for Photos and Notifications access before the system prompt appears.
* Redesigned sign-in screen.
* Fixed an issue where scanning a QR code could sometimes fail to open the collection.
* Faster, smoother photo syncing.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-20

What's New in 1.0.1

Improved photo syncing reliability, media handling, and overall app performance.

Videos now play right away when you open them, no more bugged "retry" prompts.
You can delete your own photos and videos even while they're still syncing.
Manual photo/video selection is now capped at 50 items per batch, so nothing silently gets dropped from a large selection.
A clearer explanation of how Auto-Sync works now appears right when you join or create a collection.
Date of birth entry during sign-up now uses a simple, familiar date picker.
Visual polish and stability improvements throughout.
