## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — It does not work

*2019-12-07*

Impossible to calibrate.

### 1/5 — Does not want to work for me.

*2019-11-12*

I have trouble connecting my Bose 700 to the app. But I eventually get it connected. I go through the headset calibration with no issues. Then I get a call and it asks me to double tap the headset to answer. I do this and my music app starts playing. So I close out all apps and turn everything off including the phone. Restart the phone and only the Komrad app. Struggle through connecting the headset again, go through the calibration and start the game. I get to the call and try to tap to answer it and nothing happens. I’m very sad. I want to play the game.

### 1/5 — Confusing

*2019-08-20*

Doesn’t work with the headphones

### 1/5 — Stuck at beginning

*2019-06-15*

Using my Bose frames, I’m stuck at double click to answer. Nothing happens.

**Developer response:** Hi Cerealkeller, "double-tap" with Bose Frames means tapping on the right arm of the sunglasses with your finger. I believe there's also an answer button in the UI that you can press instead if your Frames aren't registering your double-tap for some reason.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t pair with QC 35 II

*2019-05-30*

Does not pair with nose QC35II even thought according to nose connect they are updated to the most recent firmware and on the bose website it says they are compatible with bose AR. I am running version 8.1.1 of the bose connect app and firmware 4.3.6 on my headphones

**Developer response:** For connection issues, a few things to try: 1. Sometimes it mysteriously takes 30 seconds to detect a device. 2. Sometimes manually closing the app and restarting will solve connection issues 3. Sometimes rebooting your phone will help.
** If you don't hear music, then the device isn't paired with your phone. If you do hear the intro music to KOMRAD AR, then it's Bose AR connection issue--doublecheck that your device is still connected in Bose Connect and try the 3 suggestions above.

### 1/5 — Can’t get past the calibration

*2019-05-18*

Instructions... look forward. good. Look down.... and I wait, and wait. It never acknowledges and moves forward. Brand new headset... works with other apps.

### 1/5 — This app is currently not accessible with Voiceover.

*2019-03-09*

I just recently purchased the Bose Frames. I have played a few other audio AR enabled interactive games with my Bose Frames. Unlike those other apps, this one does not work with voiceover on the iPhone. Nothing on the screen is spoken at all using voiceover. Please fix this so that prompts and buttons can be navigated to and read aloud. Audio AR technology from Bose could be a fantastic genre for the blind and visually impaired.

**Developer response:** Thanks for reporting this! We’ve investigated and found that Unity, which this game is built in, does not interface with Apple’s VoiceOver technology. We will look into building our own custom solution.

### 2/5 — Nod or shaking head no not acknowledged

*2019-03-23*

These head movements are not being acknowledged. Latest update installed on Bose’s app.

**Developer response:** Bose has updated Bose AR and our developer is adding this to the game now to take advantage of the fixes and improvements.

### 3/5 — Suggest for the game

*2022-02-18*

The game is good, but if you can make it more accessible four voiceover user they’ll be more fun. For the people there who are visually impaired

### 3/5 — Alright

*2019-06-13*

Seemed alright for the couple of minutes of play, that it had - it has potential. I definitely would’ve been into this type of game... When will the full version be released? It’s obvious that this isn’t the full version, as it only has 1 task and resets to a new game (each time). If it went further, I would’ve given a higher rating but 3 minutes of play wasn’t entertaining enough to be able to do so.

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great Game

*2019-07-27*

I loved the game! Very entertaining with good sound and voices!

### 5/5 — Engaging and Inventive

*2019-03-14*

Such a fun and engaging way to utilize the new Bose technology. I can’t wait to for the next chapter.

### 4/5 — Very interesting and fun!

*2019-06-11*

This app makes good use of all the features of the Bose Headphones in a creative and imaginative way. Wish I could see more apps like this out there. Only thing I would change is fact that I can’t save my progress.

### 3/5 — Double tap opens Spotify

*2019-04-26*

The mission is to fire at the frequencies or voices as you move around the room. Double tap to fire - it opens Spotify riddaway... needs work done. Looks good tho.

**Developer response:** Thanks for playing. If you were using Bose Frames, be aware that "double-tap" refers to actually double-tapping the right arm of the Frames, not double-pushing the pin button. Doing that will begin playing music on your phone.

### 3/5 — Needs some work

*2019-03-16*

We cannot get past the first interaction where we need to nod our head yes or no. (calibration seemed fine) Running iOS 12.4 kinda disappointed
@SXSW pop up I recall the same difficultly.
Please provide a resolution.

**Developer response:** The head nod / shake recognition requires Bose’s most recent firmware, which you can update through the Bose Connect app. Once it’s updated, the firmware should recognize typical nods and head shakes—exaggerating the nod or shake will actually make it *not* be recognized. Also, for whatever reason, it seems that shakes (“no”) are detected the easiest. Let us know if you still have issues after that.
