Discovered the radio station while visiting friends and family. I wanted to experience the unique blend of genres and artists again so I downloaded the app. However, the app forces me to provide my location for "local" traffic & weather and then the next splash screen requires you to login to listen to the station. It locks at that point and no music plays :-( Guess, the only option is to listen to the station on a radio in the town they broadcast in, even though that kind of defeats the purpose of this app! ### 2/5 — Too many commercials *2024-05-30, version 11.17.60* Used to hear one maybe two commercials before the music starts playing. Now, had to hear about five commercials- before I just closed the app. I wasn’t about to wait longer to listen to more commercials. What happened to Motown, The Temptations, Barry White, The Spinners, The O'Jays, George Benson, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding. All I ever hear is Lionel Richie, and Michael Jackson. Very boring. There's also the Eagles, they are all classics, yet it's always Lionel Richie and Michael Jackson. Come on, mix it up!!! ### 4/5 — Song Reminders *2021-02-02, version 11.10.11* Don’t get me wrong, this is the best app. But sometimes, I don’t get notified when a song I turned notifications on plays... I listen to KONO everyday and when I’m expecting a certain song to play, I usually rely on the song reminder messages. Sometimes I don’t get them:( please get that fixed:)!!!
