## What is Kontingent?

With Kontingent your child manages their own screen time – just like a flexi-time account. You give them trust and strengthen their sense of responsibility, self-determination and a mindful use of screen time.

Instead of daily arguments, your child gets a clear time budget and learns to manage it themselves.

How it works
• Set a daily allowance for each day of the week – for example one hour on weekdays, more on weekends.
• Your child starts and pauses their time themselves with a single tap.
• Unused time moves to the flexi-time account – saved credit your child can spend freely.
• When the allowance runs out, an alarm goes off – with playful, freely selectable ringtones.
• The history shows the time used each day. Corrections are made by you, the parent.
