Got more than that lost my job missed one payment any back down to 400. I read the reviews and was actually excited to try out this app since I’m struggling pretty bad financially right now and I saw some good reviews that seemed like this app really helped those people. But it wouldn’t even let me get as far as making an account. I put in my info and verified my phone number and it simply told me I couldn’t make an account and didn’t even tell me why I couldn’t or what requirements there are or anything like that. I’m just frustrated I was looking forward to getting the help I need and was just let down, didn’t even have it downloaded longer than 5 min. They could of at least given me as reason as to why I’m not able to make an account. My account shows up on my homepage 4 times, 3 of them incorrect showing a false negative balance. Got some lame response that it was being worked on and could take some time. Well, not only has it not been fixed, but another false negative account balance has been added to the homepage. First time being lent money. Over time realized it wasn’t helping my credit score, interest rate super high for college students while most credit cards have 0% interest if paid on time, and no late fee for at least for the first year and a half. Score improved by like 5 pts max with Kora Cash. The amount you can qualify for is so low which doesn’t help. Opened a real credit card after a year or so and it immediately raised 50 pts after my first couple of weeks my credit is already better by 70 pts after a few months. Kora should also be educating it’s users since it’s target is college students who are just starting their credit journey. Pay on time and use your credit up to 30% of what you qualify for. Everything hit the fan when I closed my high school accounts and opened a new account. Disconnected the old and connected my new with Kora. Old account still appears on all of my finances Kora tracks even though it’s disconnected. And get this, the automatic payments won’t work with my new account. I approved sharing my info with plaid a million times and customer service was not helpful at all telling me the same thing I have been doing. Screen pops up, “oops! This shouldn’t be happening!” And doesn’t redirect you or offer any technical support on how to solve the issue… bc there just simply isn’t a way. This has been going on for months and the bug still isn’t fixed. I’ve had to pay manually with an additional service fee on top of the already high interest when I should just be able to set it up with my card. Mind you, I also can’t transfer the money from my kora card into my bank account either as the same alert pops up preventing me from proceeding. It’s not much money thank goodness, but if I had more in there I would be furious. All feels like a scam. Used to try sharing the app with every student in my life bc the concept is so great, but because of the terrible experience I’m having I will be making my last payment and spending the last of the cash on my card with apple pay and deleting it forever. I have been waiting ### 5/5 — Very good; still a few bugs *2023-12-20, version 10.6.1* I've been using Kora as a budgeting app for a while, and it does a great job! It's really easy to track my spending habits and keep myself in check. Definitely would recommend; it's 1000x better than any other budgeting method I've tried. There is still a bug where sometimes it doesn't load any transactions and I have to close out the app and open it again, but I'm hoping that will be fixed soon. I also wish there was an option to make a certain transaction not count towards my income or budget. For instance, if my mom is paying me back for something, it would be easier to just select "do not include in budget" than have the app think I'm over budget when I'm not. Regardless, those are my only two complains, and I will continue to check back for app updates in hope of bug squashes and new features! ### 5/5 — Kora *2023-08-02, version 9.8.6* Hello, I really the way advancement is done in Cash product. Keeping the loan order is made simplier just like my first order. Allowing me to pay with debit portal as well as manual payment gives me flexibility to make repayment on time. To keep autopay on and off for repayment feature is really great as it allows me to choose based on my balance for the month.
