Update: developer is responsive. Hope they can fix this issue asap. 

This is super frustrating as my flight is coming up and I can’t even open the app. I’ve tried for days, and even redownloaded the app a couple times, still can’t open. Please fix this crash issue asap!

We have identified an issue where app access is restricted in certain regions (like the Americas) when a VPN is connected. Our team is actively working on a permanent fix, but unfortunately, it is not completely resolved yet. As a temporary workaround, please temporarily turn off your VPN connection whenever you need to use the app. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and wish you a very safe flight.

The app looks fresh one thing to mention is boarding card looks very boring. I hope the design can match to its theme colour. The fluent colour between blue and pink will be fantastic.

As of the last month or so, I am unable to access the app. I open it, it crashes immediately. I have tried everything- nothing works, so I deleted it again today. My iPhone 13 software is up to date, not sure what the problem is but it needs to get fixed. Your customers can’t access the damn thing.

When using a credit card to pay for flights in the app it starts to authorize the payment and then just goes back to the previous screen. No error messages, just doesn’t work (in the USA).

Disappointed with my recent experience with Korean Air’s lounge promotion.

When I attempted to redeem the advertised lounge voucher, I received an error stating that no coupons were available. Instead of receiving a clear explanation right away, I spent days following up with customer service and waiting for responses from different departments.

Only later was I informed that the promotion had ended early because all allocated coupons had already been distributed and that no manual voucher or goodwill gesture would be provided.

I understand that promotions can be changed or ended based on their terms. However, what I find disappointing is the lack of transparency and the time wasted due to inconsistent communication. If the lounge vouchers had already been exhausted, customers should have been informed immediately so they could make informed decisions when choosing an airline or considering other available options.

As a long-time customer, I expected better communication and a more customer-focused resolution. I hope Korean Air improves the way it handles promotions and communicates changes to its customers.

I thought getting their app would get me past all of the issues with their website, it didn’t. Numerous bugs, slow app just check in with a computer on their website and hope for the best.

Why do I have to keep contacting them for the same thing? The associates promised to do something but I have to keep contacting them via chat again and have to repeat the whole conversation again from the previous associate. This is as frustrating as dealing with Amazon customer service.

My two packages went through the inspection machine without making any noise, but the customs officers deliberately pulled my packages aside and made things difficult for me.

I was told my gel nail polish bottle wasn't allowed in checked baggage, even though my mother brought it with her and it was fine. When I checked Korean Air's information today, they said it was allowed. I'm very upset with the staff there, so I'm giving a 1-star rating because of the two Vietnamese customs officers.

While transiting through Incheon International Airport on our trip from Hanoi, Vietnam to Vancouver, Canada, our third daughter unfortunately suffered a dislocated arm. It was a very stressful and frightening moment for our family while being far away from home.

Thanks to the quick assistance and professionalism of the airport emergency staff, Korean Air employees, and immigration officers, we were able to safely enter Korea and bring our daughter to Inha University Hospital for urgent medical care. Every person we met showed exceptional compassion, patience, and professionalism during this difficult situation.

We are especially grateful to Korean Air for kindly helping us change our flight to the following day so our daughter could receive proper treatment and rest before continuing our journey back to Vancouver.

Although this was an experience no family wishes to face while traveling abroad, the care and support we received from all of you turned a very difficult moment into one filled with warmth, reassurance, and humanity.

iOS 모바일 보딩패스 변경 이후 탑승시간, 게이트 등이 업데이트 되어도 애플지갑에 반영이 안 되는 오류들이 있습니다.

또한 디자인 변경 후 깔끔해진 것은 좋으나 영문 병기가 아닌 국문만 표기되어 해외에서 모바일 보딩패스를 사용키에 조금 혼돈이 있고, 또한 Sky Priority나 PR에 대한 표기가 눈에 띄지 않아 라운지 입장시에도 애플지갑 모바일 보딩패스가 아닌 대한항공 앱 상의 보딩패스를 보여달라고 하시더라구요.

예매페이지에서 시간별구간 선택으로 넘어갈때 로딩이.. 체크해주세요. 없던 오류여서 불편하네요. 그전까지 정말 잘 썼어요~

### 5/5 — Wrong or confusing reservation display on app home page

When multiple tickets purchased under a single person’s mileage (i.e. purchase of a self and a family member with a family mileage and with different departure date), the default reservation that shows on the purchaser’s mobile app’s home page may NOT be the purchaser’s own reservation. It appears that the reservation list is based on only chronological order. 

When the app is opened, the home page should show its own reservation first even if multiple tickets were purchased. Because of this, it gets confused as to whether the ticket was purchased under a wrong name or not. One must go through multiple steps to the “purchase list” page to see all the details, which defeats the purpose of showing it on home page.

It is shame this app tries to block a not so good review with a nick name scam

대한항공 앱의 UI가 직관적이고 필요한 정보만 심플하게 담고있어서 너무 좋은 것 같아요 ㅎㅎ 다만 탭을 누를 때마다 콘텐츠들이 아래에서 위로 올라오는 애니메이션이 다소 어지럽게 느껴지는 것 같습니다ㅜ 애니메이션이 없어도 좋을 것 같아요 ㅎㅎ
