It's easy to search English or Korean words, and the audio feature has helped my pronunciation so much. I use this app whenever I'm watching a Korean show/movie, so I can look up words I hear/read while watching. I have been using this app for a long time and I love the layout of the latest update. It regularly crashed for me when clicking on words, the adverts are annoyingly placed (no doubt so you accidentally click on them) and there's so much gloss and eye candy it makes it distracting and difficult to use. I'd recommend the Korea dictionary by 'I Think Diff' ### 1/5 — Fairly Bad *2012-11-04, version 2.7* I've used this quite a few times where it simply doesn't have the words I want to translate into English. ### 2/5 — The worst. *2013-04-21, version 3.0* Missing the most basic words, plus the English definitions are ridiculous...it responds with words that even I, an educated native English speaker, don't use or understand! Oh and why can't I search for 하다 endings instead of just the root word? This app makes my Korean study incredibly frustrating...I definitely DO NOT recommend this app. ### 2/5 — ok? *2012-05-16, version 1.5* Since apple sends you push notifications which you cannot stop when not using an app I will never ever update a free app again. ### 2/5 — Frustrating, but free *2012-03-09, version 1.0* Trying to click on the audio for Korean dictionary entries often opens the close-up for the letters. It often takes several attempts to listen to one word. Also, while I'm not an expert on Korean by any means, Korean friends have pointed out that many entries (such as 'hello') do not mention the most commonly used words. This is misleading for a new learner. ### 3/5 — !!!!! *2017-01-27, version 10.6* Overall, one of the best Korean dictionary apps for iOS. The interface is really clean and easy to use... but it can be really frustrating at times, too. Like not having example sentences for some words, or listing multiple translations without their individual meanings. Like I was searching up the word bread and it had two translations: 방 and 생계. But the first is the literal bread and the second is more about sustenance. In that case I wasn't sure which one was more common/appropriate to use (without researching externally), which can be a lil misleading. I don't know if that makes sense lol but I'd love to have the specific English explanations directly beside the Hangul! I'd really love this app but as a non-native learning Korean, it'd be a million times more helpful with a few changes.
