Searches English or Korean. A must-have Korean app!! My only suggestion is that, when searching in the "Romanized" spelling, the results are returned alphabetically in Korean - not alphabetically in the Roman. With the help of this app, I can quickly search a few words and find an answer. At first I was cautious about this app as there were no reviews or ratings on it, but i cannot understand why...Great app! Offline usage is a big advatange! Your dictionary says “light housekeeper”. Looked kind of funny and Not right. Further search says “lighthouse keeper”. Have to be online to use voice feature which is really bad feature. ### 4/5 — Some Inappropriate Numbers Added *2020-02-25, version 1.18* I’ve been using this app for a few years and have never encountered anything strange about their interpretations or seen anything odd written until tonight. I looked up “majseubnida” (it is correct) and found this: “맞습니다” then below it it says “It is” and then below that is says “Corresp69onded, Fit, Correct, Fits”. I’m almost 66 years old and the numbers the translator “fit in” is offensive in a dictionary. I’m not some prudish old hag. I understand the other meaning of “69”, but it really isn’t appropriate in a Korean/English dictionary or any dictionary, for that matter. It’s probably too late, but I do hope the translator is, at the very least, warned and I also hope (and will look for) that the “69” will be removed from the translation. Also, anything else the translator worked on is suspect and should be checked for other inappropriate additions. ### 4/5 — Good app *2019-06-03, version 1.18* It’s a good app but not many words that I’m looking for! Here's the definition in the dictionary: 격식 Informal formal, formality, prestigious Note that the definition uses two words of opposite meaning. Super helpful since I've even in Korea. ### 5/5 — Useful, offline Korean English Dictionary *2015-01-10, version 1.9* I downloaded this app several days ago and it has worked wonderfully (going from Korean to English and back again). Everything is obviously offline; you're basically querying from a bunch of words that the designer has loaded into a list. As far as ads go, ads are placed in relatively innocuous places, making your experience relatively unburdened. Definitely recommend; if this continues to be useful for the next couple of weeks, I'll definitely pay to remove ads / help the developer. ### 5/5 — Good Korean Dictionary *2014-10-03, version 1.9* This is another dictionary by Nguyen that I like (and prefer over other dictionaries). It is comprehensive. Has a lot of compound words. Best of all, it has the "old" Chinese character translation.
