How do I randomize to modulate? Sample and Hold type of randomness would really add to the power of this. Also, how can I choose the probability, velocity, and etc of individual steps in the drums? An export of source files, or patterns/songs export of editable content would be awesome **Developer response:** Hello. Thank you for your message. The Electribe Wave has a Song and Pattern Backup/Restore system which can be used to transfer data between devices. In order to do that, please open the settings menu and create a Backup. Then, using Files.app, locate the ElectribeWave folder and transfer your backup file to the destination device. Finally, on the destination device, open the settings and use the "Restore" option to import the file. Please remember to backup both devices to avoid losing any data. Please add. ### 3/5 — Boff *2022-01-23* Attractive interface but not very intuitive, the factory sounds are plein horrible and dated, what’s the point of wave motion if not put forward, ha, yes you have to buy the extra packs of course. Get Caustic more fun and better sounding. Anyway Korg have dropped any support on the app and gadget by the look of it. Quick bucks and move on, that is the business model. ### 4/5 — Amp Reset? *2021-11-30, version 3.0.4* I love this synth! I cut my teeth doing experimental music with a green Korg ES-1 back in the 00s and have really enjoyed making music in the Korg grove box format again. This app really feels like an instrument and I have fun playing it whether I’m working on something serious or just messing around. It sounds very, very good. If I could ask for one feature for the dev team to consider it would be to add another poly voice mode where the amp doesn’t reset to 0 when you play a note a second time. Sometimes called ‘analog amp’. I often use this for generative ambient music (because it’s 8 wavetable synths 😳) but the amp volume resetting and clicking kills the mood. Good thing I also love to abuse this thing in mono mode with extreme FM settings and make it scream. Don’t hear any clicks over the beautiful noise! Any chance we can get presets in AUV3 at some point? see it in action on my YouTube channel called ‘cryptonym’ ### 4/5 — Sehr eingeschränktes Management *2021-06-20* Schade. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit, selbst erstellte Sounds ( viel Potential ) als Preset abzuspeichern. Statt dessen gibt es nur eine Datenbank mit maximal 10x16 abzuspeichernden Pattern inkl Sounds und Notenevents aller Instrumente. Jedoch ist diese Datenbanken schon zur Hälfte mit Werkspattern gefüllt. Aber was soll Ich damit? Wie kann Ich diesem Platz frei machen ? Man kann kein Projekt von Grundauf leer starten. Könnte man wenigstens NotenPatterns mit neuen Sounds kombinieren , die in Presets abgelegt sind, wäre es sinnvoll. I’ve been using this with my Korg NanoKey Studio. Awesome pairing but it seems the knobs and pad buttons don’t work about half the time I connect it. Disconnecting and reconnecting seems to fix the issue. Still a bit annoying though ### 4/5 — Nice app *2021-01-02, version 3.0.2* As audio unit it is available as a single wavetable. It would be nice to have aces to patches/programs and drums ### 4/5 — Da geht noch was!!!! *2020-12-01* Undo Funktion wäre eine große Bereicherung! Und wenn ihr die App noch weiter nach vorn bringen wollt baut die drum section bitte noch mit mehr Sampler Funktionen aus ( Sampling, Resampling, Timestretch, Slicing, Einstellbarer Startpunkt des Sampels ) eben all diese wunderbaren Funktionen die wir von den Electribe Samplern kennen und lieben. Ich weiß das ihr das drauf habt! Ok meine Wünsche sind schon etwas groß angesichts des Aufwands der Programmierung, aber ehrlich und da bin ich sicher nicht der einzige, genau das ist es was uns jetzt noch fehlt wenn es um Electribe und IOS geht die ultimative Sampling Power mit Touch Interface und absoluter bearbeitungsfreundlichkeit / Leichtigkeit aller Electribe Wave. Dafür würde ich gern auch nochmal bezahlen solltet ihr dies in einer eigenständigen neuen App verwirklichen. Impossible to use, interface is too finite and small to use on a phone. Best regards, KORG App Team ### 5/5 — Happy I took the chance. *2024-03-24* This app has really impressed me tbh. I had never used an Electribe, only a Groovebox. For what it is, it’s pretty cool. It has a pretty great sound first of all. It doesn’t sound cheap. It has some very thick, deep, gritty sounds in it. And some great drum sounds. It sounds crisp and clear. It’s fairly user friendly. Learning to create songs by chaining patterns wasn’t too difficult. I really like how there’s an optional 8 measures to work with. And the keys are quite responsive to touch on here which has been cool. It’s been fun learning to use it. I still haven’t been able to sync it with my other gear though. Les sons sons modulables à souhait et ne de limite que votre imagination. Le séquençage est très agréable. On la tout les effets voulus . Rentrer dans cette application c’est comme ouvrir une boîte de pandore .. bien sûr il y a des synthétiseurs qui ont d’autres genres de son mais vous connaissez vous un synthétiseur qui possèdent tout les sons du monde .. à vous d’en créer car avec Electribe vous pouvez le faire. This is great because I can write music anywhere, and and then come home and use my physical synths with perfect results. The sound engine is great, and sounds really good through studio monitors. The Mixer and multi track sequencer is beautiful, and versatile enough to make quality masters. ### 5/5 — Still a great app *2022-12-17* For some reason I produce more music I like in this than in any other app. Synth sounds great. Being able to mix in some noise is an essential feature in a synth to add grit and phatmess to certain sounds. Please add it to the Ocillator Mod Types.
