This instrument featured an advanced vector synthesis system which created new sounds by combining and connecting multiple waveforms; it provided a mix/morphing function that let you use a joystick to change the balance of four oscillators, and a distinctive wave sequence function that allowed you to place waveforms in a desired sequence to create sequence patterns. To this day, it continues to be considered a legendary and still-unique instrument. Now in 2016, the WAVESTATION has been reborn as "KORG iWAVESTATION," an app for iPad/iPhone. Deletes your work when it crashes. The bug has lasted for months. Pan page works fine in standalone. Otherwise the synth is outstanding; there’s nothing like it on PC, much less iOS. This thing sounds great! *2026-04-02, version 1.2.2* I always wanted a Korg Wavestation back in the day. I’ve been waiting for this to go to AUV3 and now that it has I’ve bought it. It sounds amazing! And I’ve just been playing with it a little while now. Korg developers Please make the rest of your iOS synths AUV3 compatible. I have the ARP and will buy the rest of them (Polysix, Mono/Poly,etc ) if you make them AUV3. My first synth was a Poly 800 bought in 1984. Longtime Korg fan. Any thoughts of doing an iOS version of that? Just don’t understand why the Filter Envelope was completely removed especially now that the filter has resonance. I guess using the Amp Envelope on the filter is doable and a Filter Env isn’t going to be added.
