## What is koukoutsa?

Our journey began with an urgent realisation. Busy schedules, fatigue, and human error have led to heartbreaking incidents where children were accidentally left behind in vehicles. These tragedies remind us of the importance of creating tools that support parents and educators in safeguarding children’s well-being.

Our platform provides kindergarten and nursery school teachers with a seamless way to mark attendance and send real-time absence alerts via SMS. By bridging the gap between schools and families, koukoutsa helps prevent delays in communication and ensures that no child is ever overlooked.
