## What is Kounters?

Track your life, reach goals, quantify.

Kounters is an application that will let you count user defined events.

Use it to count/quantify/track progress on different day to day tasks like:
- workouts
- habits
- expenses
- sales
- weight
- scores
- goals

Each counter has it's own event log, to let you track when they happen. You can even add an image and/or a text note to each event.

Features:
• 2 different types of counters:
a) Auto: you specify the incremental amount
b) Manual: you enter the count amount for each event

• Favorites: 8 spots where you can assign any counter.

• Categories: let’s you organize your counters into collections

• Counters:
- counter information: name, type, count amount, thumbnail
- add, delete
- thumbnails: use your Photo Library or camera to assign a thumbnail to any counter


• Graphs: shows a Graph for each counter to let you quickly see your progress:
- day counts: active/inactive, first/last event dates
- inactivity feedback
- Landscape Graph: rotate your device to landscape to see a detailed bar graph with 
  totals for up to 3 years, max count, average count


• Events:
- event information: date, time, location (optional), image, note
- edit Events: lets you change any of the above
- add, delete events
- shake to count: count by shaking your device

Love this app! Tried the free version for a couple days and bought the full version. Easy to use, all the features make sense, nothing I'm interested in seems to be missing, and there's no extra features muddying up the interface. Thank you!

This is a deceptively simply yet highly versatile App. Although I first downloaded it to track straightforward, everyday activities (which is probably what most people will use it for), I rapidly realised that it had potential as an academic research tool. I have now used it twice, in ernest, first in a research project tracking wayfinding behaviours, and second in a study where I needed subjects to self-report their emotional state. The main reason I could use this tool for an academic study is its reliability (in over 12 months I've not experienced a single problem with it) and the ability to customise the icons (I import new icons into my Photos folder and then bring them into Kounters). In this latest version they've added a new functionality to be able to record the location where an event has happened. In my opinion, this opens up a whole new range of potential applications and I am sure I am going to be using this feature in the near future. I would highly recommend this App.
