First off, love the app. You can make any story and do anything. You want horror? You got it. Want spicy romance with action being a superhero? Easy. I only have a few complaints about the female voice sometimes saying random words during short sentences. Now for the complaint: I have been using this app for almost 3 months and I opened the app today and for some reason I was logged out. I tried to log back in but it asked me to buy another subscription. I tried to re-sign in again and it still asked for another payment. When I tried to make the new payment it said my subscription was active on another account and now I lost my 13 books. I don’t know how to bypass the paywall and re-access my account and now I think I’m just going to cancel my subscription and never be able to finish by books. ### 3/5 — Buggy AI *2026-05-18* Tried to make another account but couldn’t because I’m perma stuck on the screen telling me to pick a subscription. Can’t access my other account so I can’t use the app anymore ;/; ### 2/5 — Pointless without paying for a subscription *2026-05-07* What is the point of allowing someone to make the audio book, not allowing them to be able to listen to the entire thing, or even make corrections? Have a cap on how many can be made for free, or don’t allow people to make their audio books for free, but don’t give limited access to the only one we’re allowed to make for free. You’re not going to last like this. ### 2/5 — Amazing idea, frustrating execution. *2026-03-14* As someone who is dyslexic, I’ve always had story ideas but struggled with actually writing them. This app finally made it possible for me to turn those ideas into a real book. With enough guidance, I generated an 18 chapter story that I’m genuinely proud of. However, the point system is extremely aggressive. You can burn through 80k points just trying to get a story started. Every correction, suggestion, or question costs points, and even minor edits regenerate large sections of the story. That means you’re constantly paying to fix problems the AI created in the first place. The concept behind this app is fantastic, but the current pricing structure makes it feel more like a novelty than a real writing tool. If the pay model were redesigned, this could become something truly special. ### 2/5 — App keeps crashing *2026-03-07* The past couple weeks whenever I click into the audiobook to try making edits to the chapter, the app crashes. The appeal is gone if you can’t edit. **Developer response:** Hey! Thank you for your feedback and for bringing this to our attention. I am extremely annoyed and mad. If it could become an “interactive” novel and allow the reader to decide the outcome, the turning point, character growth, this would the ultimate writing tool. For now -nice. Next level tool needs to be more geometric and less linear. This is undergrad programming but so close to being doctoral! Note: Please ad a menu button to download entire book. Good convincing writing and does what I want it to. Only real issue is that it costs an indeterminate amount of credits to make chapters and to read them. It gives enough to make one chapter and generate the writing per week. If you give it text it cuss it in half remove all the punctuation so when it reads it, it sounds like a foreign language. Not for my needs. I tried giving it very detailed instructions and it did not follow them. There is a chat feature that you can edit your work but the chat would argue and say that person is not even in the story. Only after you give it a time stamp does the A.I. Chat agree that it was a mistake but can not fix it. It works great if you give it simple instructions with no expectations. Basically a title and let it go, then its great. But if you have characters and some idea of a direction its not that good. Not to mention that while sharing stories with other users is great. If the “author” did not listen to it yet, you use your own credits to listen to the story. It is only if someone has already listened to it that you don’t use your own credits. There is also no explanation of credit usage. Chatting with AI uses credits, listening to your work or other peoples work for the first time uses credits, creating a cover uses credits. But how many credits are used for these tasks? Its no where in the app. Just remaining credits after you completed the task. But idk this app left a bad taste in my mouth from the jump as an aspiring horror story writer kept trying to splice in characters I didn’t ask for changing details and even chapter titles I didn’t as for it to change just great for someone that doesn’t want to actually write or control their story contents horrible for actual creatives” ### 1/5 — Too many bugs *2025-12-17, version 1.3.16* I made two audio books. Since the updates I can no longer open them and make edits. The app crashes when I try. Credit top ups are nonexistent. It will give a count down but when the count down passes, 10k credits do not appear. I’ve been stuck at 34 credits for 3 weeks now. ### 1/5 — Waste of credits *2025-12-15, version 1.3.14* It will refuse to use your description and make up random thing even if given an explaination. Waste of time ### 1/5 — Waste of credits *2025-12-06* Whenever it’s given a prompt, princely when sources should be gathered for a chapter - it 90% of the time just freezes over without providing “approve sources” button and just waits for your next response. While THE CREDITS ARE STILL GETTING TAKEN. And it sometimes takes me a dozen tries to finally to get it to add sources to each chapter. But credits at failed or error responses are still taken. All it does is just continually apologising, while continuing to do the same thing over and over again on a loop. 10% of successful chapter creation out of 90%. But the credits are taken 100% of the time. How convenient. ### 1/5 — Cancel *2025-12-04, version 1.3.10* I need to cancel the subscription, but it’s impossible to find the cancellation. ### 1/5 — Angry. *2025-11-17, version 1.3.6* I give it a chapter that I wrote, and then no matter what, it changes everything about it. How hard is it to make something work with AI? So easy—I have my writing, and the app turns it into an audiobook. But no, it’s never that simple. The app changes everything.
