## What is Kover?

Receipts fade and warranties run out without a word. Kover keeps every purchase with its receipt, knows your country’s law and reminds you before it ends.

HOW PURCHASES GET IN
• Share the invoice PDF from Mail or Files and choose Kover: it reads the store, the date, the amount and the country. The PDF is kept whole, every page.
• Or scan the receipt with the camera (multi-page ones too), or pick a photo. You add the name: three questions and done.

YOUR RIGHTS, UP TO DATE
• The legal guarantee works itself out from the country and the purchase date: in Spain, 3 years for anything bought since 2022 (2 before); 2 in the rest of the EU.
• The presumption, in plain sight: until when a fault is taken to come from the factory. From that day the seal cracks: if it breaks, it’s on you to prove it.
• Return deadline (14 days online by law in the EU, or the store’s policy), with a reminder two days before.
• Extended warranty from the maker, the store or your card, and the EU GARAN label of the maker’s guarantee read with the camera.
• In the US: your written warranty and the implied warranty of merchantability under your state’s law.
• Every rule shows its source and when it was checked. Guidance, not legal advice.

WATCHING FOR YOU
• Reminders a month before, a week before and on the day it ends, on all your devices.
• A “Next to expire” widget on the Home and Lock Screens.
• Search “washer” in Spotlight and open its page. Ask Siri what’s expiring soon.

FOR THE DAY YOU HAVE TO CLAIM
• Serial number, support phone or website one tap away, and the receipt always at hand.
• When you claim, tell Kover how it ended: repaired, replaced or refunded. Kover keeps watching what comes back home and adds up what it has saved you.

KOVER PRO: ONE PURCHASE, FOR GOOD
Kover is free, and everything day to day is free: unlimited products, reading receipts and PDFs, your country’s law, reminders, widget, Spotlight and Siri. Kover Pro is a one-time purchase, no subscription, shared with your family, that adds:
• The claim letter, ready to send, in the store’s language and citing its consumer law (Spain, France and the US).
• At the counter: one big screen with the dates, the serial number, the receipt and the law in one sentence.
• More papers per product: the invoice, the extended warranty, a second receipt.
• The claim PDF with every document.
• Export everything to CSV.
• Colour themes: Stamp Pad, Archive and Midnight, by day and by night. Seal stays free.
Try it free for 30 days first, once per Apple ID. Nothing is charged: when the month ends, the Pro features close again, and whatever you added with them stays yours.

PRIVATE
No account, no analytics, no ads. Everything is read on the phone itself and stored on your device and in your own iCloud. We never see it.

There’s also an optional tip jar. It unlocks nothing.

In English, Spanish and French.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 0.8.2 — 2026-10-18

• Widgets and the Share sheet now use the language you choose in Kover (Settings › Language).
• Widget: “1 day left” instead of “1 days left”.

### 0.8.1 — 2026-10-17

Kover now speaks Simplified Chinese and knows mainland China’s rules:
• Sanbao: 12 months for phones, electronics and appliances, and for 6 months after delivery the seller has to prove a fault wasn’t there.
• A reminder the day before the 7-day return and 15-day exchange windows end.
• A replacement starts a new sanbao; add the sanbao warranty card to the product.
• Online purchases: the 7-day no-reason return.
• The receipt reader understands Chinese receipts, e-invoices and order screenshots: yuan, Chinese dates and the tax-inclusive total.
• Pro: the claim letter and the counter screen in Chinese.
Also: the camera and photo permission messages are now in your language, and countries Kover has no rule for no longer point to an EU page.

### 0.7.0 — 2026-10-15

Kover is now an iPad app:
• «Your home's coverage»: every product on one timeline, with the legal guarantee, the extended one, what has already ended and a line for today.
• Your products as cards with their seal; the next one to expire stands out.
• The product page across the screen: the seal on top, every detail in sight and the receipt large.
• Drag a PDF or a photo from Files or Mail onto the page to keep it.
• Widgets sized for the iPad.

### 0.6.0 — 2026-10-11

A big update for Kover:
• Share an invoice PDF from Mail, Files or Photos and choose Kover: it reads the store, the date and the amount. PDFs are kept whole, every page.
• The guarantee by your country’s law and your purchase date, with the presumption: until when a fault is taken to come from the factory.
• A return deadline, with a reminder two days before.
• A “Next to expire” widget, your products in Spotlight, and Siri and Shortcuts for free.
• When you claim, tell Kover how it ended (repaired, replaced or refunded) and see how much it has saved you.
• Reads the EU GARAN label of the maker’s guarantee. And a photo of the product, if you like.
• With Kover Pro: the claim letter and the screen for the counter, in the store’s language (Spain, France and the US).
• Reminders now reach your other iPhone or iPad too, and never get lost however many products you have.

### 0.2.5 — 2026-10-08

New in Kover:
• Redeem a Kover Pro offer code from the Pro sheet.
• Settings › Appearance brings together light or dark mode, the app icon and the theme.
• The privacy policy and terms open in your language.
• More contrast for the small print, and for category icons in light mode.
