## What is KOWA SL?

The KOWA SL-19 App is an application software for capturing, displaying, and recording images using the hand-held slit lamp KOWA SL-19 plus.
It is used to aid in the diagnosis of diseases or trauma which affect the structural properties of the anterior eye segment using captured images.

[Home Screen]
  - Added an Announcements section. Update history and important notices will appear here; please check periodically.
  - Added Select from Calendar. Tap the calendar icon at the top left to switch.
  - Added ID sorting. Choose ID order or Date order.
  - Added ID filtering. Filter IDs by the entered text. Tap the magnifying-glass button.

[Data List Screen]
  - Added an option to display items by date.
  - Added an option to choose 3–5 columns for display.

[Barcode Reading Screen]
  - Added a switchable barcode scan area.
  - Added support for the front camera. Tap the top-right button to switch cameras.
  - Read barcodes are now marked in blue, making them easier to identify when multiple barcodes are on screen.

[Still Image Display Screen]
  - Added non-animated image movement. Tap the left/right buttons on the screen. Combined with Open Selected, this makes image comparison easier.
  - Added a zoom-level button. Tap the zoom-level button at the bottom right.

[Video Playback Screen]
  - Improved zoom and drag for smoother operation.
  - Added a zoom-level button. Tap the zoom-level button at the bottom right.

[Settings Screen]
  - Added Quick Settings.
  - Added date format selection.
  - Added an option to save crops without upscaling.
  - Added an option to export videos from the Home Screen.

This update includes the following feature improvements and bug fixes.

• Feature Improvements
  - On the Home Screen, when scrolling through IDs, the scroll position is now retained after selecting an ID and returning to the Home Screen.
  - On the Data List Screen, the scroll position is now retained after returning from the Live View Screen.
  - Improved the display icon that indicates the connection status with the SL-19 plus for better clarity.
  - Improved the stability of the Barcode Reading Screen.

• Bug Fixes
  - On the Live View Screen, fixed an issue where unintended still images were instantly displayed. This issue did not affect the recorded video.
  - Fixed a discrepancy where the available storage on the iPad and within the SL-19 plus app was displayed differently.
  - On the Video Playback Screen, fixed an issue where extra margins were included when saving an enlarged still images.
  - Other minor bug fixes.

  - Added a feature to ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection with SL-19 plus.

  - Improved visibility and usability by adding a cancel label to the processing screen.
• Bug Fixes
  - Fixed an issue where users could return to the previous screen while recording.
  - Fixed an issue where video thumbnails could occasionally fail to display in the thumbnail view of the data screen.
  - Fixed an issue where the standard display size after rotating the iPad was not correctly reflected when scrolling to the next page on the still image screen.
  - Fixed an issue where an image that was zoomed in on the still image screen could display smaller than 1x or larger than 5x after rotating the iPad.
  - Fixed other minor bugs.
