## What is Koyomi Japan Market Calendar?

Every month has days you only miss because nobody reminded you.

Friday arrives and you had not noticed it was SQ week. You remember the last day with rights one day off, and the dividend is gone. You learn a BOJ decision is out on the day it lands.

Koyomi keeps just those dates within reach.

■ No prices, no news
It shows dates, and what each date means. No charts, no quotes, no tickers. It makes no network requests, so it opens in airplane mode and underground.

■ What is in it
· SQ and major SQ, and the last trading day before each
· The last day with rights, the ex-rights day, the record date (settlement is T+2)
· Bank of Japan policy meetings and the Tankan survey
· FOMC, US employment data, US market holidays and early closes
· Exchange holidays, and the first and last sessions of the year
· The NISA year-end buying deadline and the tax filing window
· Scheduled Nikkei 225 constituent changes

Holidays and closures are included from 2020 through 2040, with substitute holidays and citizens' holidays worked out.

■ The rules, applied correctly
SQ is the second Friday, but when that day is a market holiday it moves EARLIER, to the previous session — not later. The last day with rights follows the T+2 settlement that took effect in July 2019. You do not have to count any of it yourself.

■ Reminders (Koyomi Pro)
A week before, the day before, or on the day — chosen per category. Notification times are Tokyo time. Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets show what is next.
