### 2/5 — Could be improved

*2026-05-19, version 3.24.0*

App does what it’s supposed to most of the time. Sometimes it gets stuck on a kp screen and never loads in, force closing app or even restarting doesn’t fix it.
Never seems to stay logged in, over half the time I need to use my password because face is not an option.
Unlike the app that comes with the device, I can not share the info to apple health and the data isn’t available in kp.org

### 4/5 — Just a blue screen

*2026-05-18, version 3.24.0*

Stopped working

### 2/5 — Meh

*2026-05-17, version 3.24.0*

Effective for sharing my readings with Drs, everything else is ineffective in my opinion. Once we have a good handle on things I’ll be dropping this for the app that was provided by my device.

### 1/5 — Broken App

*2026-03-24, version 3.22.0*

I continue to receive notifications from KP to sync my recordings but the app immediately crashes when I try to open it. This has been the case for months. I hope the developers will update the app.

### 2/5 — Won’t sync anymore

*2026-03-03, version 3.22.0*

It used to work. It doesn’t sync now.

### 3/5 — Stuck in loop

*2026-02-17, version 3.22.0*

I can’t get to my readings because it keeps telling “you have not synced any readings yet” . When I press the Get Started button, it syncs “success” and the same “ you have not yet synced any readings pop up”

### 1/5 — Can’t even use the app

*2026-02-04, version 3.22.0*

Once I login, the app just spends forever on the privacy consent screen. I have to force quit the app several times to get past that. I have been trying to get into this app for almost a week now with no success.

### 2/5 — Stop syncing with my phone

*2025-12-31, version 3.22.0*

Gets the job done. However; it stopped syncing with my phone. Unfortunately it doesn’t give the date and time on the Omron machine…

### 2/5 — Flawed but does its job

*2025-11-21, version 3.22.0*

Update: it seems like nobody’s home when it comes to fixing and supporting this app. Control solution readings are still being recorded as regular readings. And now, FaceID seems to be broken. I try to turn it on in the in-app settings, and it turns itself right back off. When I click the “application support” link in the App Store, it just takes me to Kaiser’s homepage. Useless.

Previous review:
This app works well most of the time, but one star off for not recording control solution readings properly. Even though my Verio Flex records the reading properly as a control solution test, the app records it as a real reading and I do get asked by my doctor about the anomalous number and have to explain every time. Another star off for having their “app support” link lead to the Kaiser Permanente homepage, from which there is no actual route to support for this app.

Sync time ranges from instantaneous to glacially slow for no apparent reason.

### 1/5 — Conflict with OneTouch

*2025-11-17, version 3.22.0*

Recently I’m seeing this error? Why do you care about which app I have installed. The One touch has better UI features that I like. You cannot pair your device with KP Health Ally because you have the LifeScan
OneTouch Reveal® mobile app installed. Please uninstall the OneTouch Reveal® app to continue.

### 1/5 — Can’t click on the agree button

*2025-11-15, version 3.22.0*

Can’t click on the agree button after logging in for the first time. Trying to report to the developer just takes you to the Kaiser website. Not a good start!
iOS 26.1 on iPhone 11.

### 1/5 — This app keeps getting worse with every update

*2025-11-02, version 3.22.0*

This app was very helpful when I first got it several years ago.

Now, with every update, something else breaks. It seems there is no quality control tests before releasing this app.

When I take my blood reading and write a note to tell what I ate that I think made my blood sugar go exceptionally up or down. I save it. Then remember to add a comment. Open it again- the note is gone, disappeared!

Now when I sync the meter with a new reading, it doesn’t allow me to say if the reading was fasting, before or after meal.

Also, it doesn’t show today’s readings. Only shows the readings BEFORE it was updated.

I wish I could bring my old program back!!!

### 1/5 — SYSTEM ERROR

*2025-10-27, version 3.22.0*

having problem kept getting system error every time i tried uploading my results for the past 4 days now.

### 1/5 — This was a downgrade

*2025-10-25, version 3.22.0*

Upon updating the app does not work! So my info will not be sent to my doctor!! Who did this??? What was wrong with the app without the update or rather downgrade?

### 1/5 — Quits synching

*2025-10-25, version 3.22.0*

After installing the new app it refused to pair, even though the Bluetooth app showed it was connected. HA just showed ‘unable to pair’. Simply horrible.

### 1/5 — Health Ally? Then why do you lock my data in? Integrate with Apple Health!

*2025-10-17, version 3.21.0*

I’m forced to use this app instead if the app written by the monitor manufacturer and it adds nothing, only takes away. No automatic syncing. No Apple Health integration.

If you were truly trying to be my Health Ally you’d work with me. But you seem only concerned about locking me in.

### 3/5 — It’s been great

*2025-09-13, version 3.21.0*

The app has worked great until today. It syncs to history but not to the daily part where I can add info like pre or post meals or notes. That’s the most important part of the app for me. I did everything I found on google to reset, but it’s not making a difference.

### 3/5 — I went back to my other app

*2025-09-06, version 3.21.0*

I thought this app would be great to automatically upload my meter readings to Kaiser, but I went back to my Verio app after one day. KP Health Ally won’t let you have more than one meter linked to it and I use two, one at home and one in my purse for work or anytime I am out and need to check my blood sugar. My Verio app takes the reading from both meters to give a truer picture of my overall readings. Kaiser also says they don’t have a code to give me so my Verio app can upload the info directly to them so I guess I will just have to show my dr my app when I have an appointment .

### 1/5 — Abandoned

*2025-08-27, version 3.13*

I think you have locked me out of the software because I use an IPhone7. I am not going to pay $1000 for e nee phone because Kaiser cannot support old software!

8-26-25 I guess no-one looks st these posts. I cannot use the new app because I have an iPhone 7. Any reason I can’t use the old software??????????

*2026-05-22, version 3.24.0*

Last update, app only crashes when opened. Please fix.

### 1/5 — Last Update failure

*2026-05-19, version 3.24.0*

The app no longer opens to record my latest glucose readings. I’ve tried going to the Apps directly & it just buffers.

### 1/5 — Just awful

*2026-05-19, version 3.24.0*

The app stopped working one day. I did all the steps. Delete, turn off phone, wait, turn on phone, reinstall. No luck. And Kaiser IT will not help. Not their department. They won’t return calls. I didn’t change anything but it’s somehow my fault. I am having a detrimental healthcare experience AND THEY DON’T CARE.

### 1/5 — App not working

*2026-05-19, version 3.24.0*

App isn’t working properly. It doesn’t even open up at all

### 1/5 — System error

*2026-05-19, version 3.24.0*

We’re unable to process your request at this time.. retry
Have not been able to login all day to log my blood sugar. This has been stressing me out so much please fix your app. I tried restarting my phone, deleting the app and reinstalling it. Still giving me the same error message.

### 1/5 — Standard poor for KP

*2026-05-19, version 3.24.0*

Just something else from KP that doesn’t work. Cannot even get logged in.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2026-05-18, version 3.24.0*

Not working since latest update. Says error when trying to load… gives try again option but still doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Freezes before login

*2026-05-18, version 3.24.0*

There was a recent update. And everything was business as usual until today. Now the app doesn’t even open to the login page. It just freezes at the blue screen that it is trying to load.

### 1/5 — Still broken the review written back in November - describing issues with the program.

*2026-04-08, version 3.23.0*

Issues have not been addressed they were simple and easy to fix

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-03-25, version 3.23.0*

Every time I try to put it back on my phone it just goes away. Can’t sync anything anymore

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Improved

*2026-03-25, version 3.23.0*

Connecting improvements! Before was always getting a login page and using back arrow to leave reading

### 5/5 — Thanks for update

*2025-04-01, version 3.18.0*

Thanks for update

### 5/5 — Really cool app!

*2024-10-25, version 3.15.1*

This app has gotten better recently!

### 5/5 — Much improved as of June 2024

*2024-06-27*

The last six months of using this app have been ok, but there was usually a long wait to get the latest glucose reading uploaded to the app. The latest version though has fixed all that, and even without the app running in the foreground, it instantly gets the reading from the monitor. Also seems to have fixed issues with the app hanging on startup.

### 5/5 — Improved performance with last update

*2023-05-04*

Moving from an “automatic” synchronizing of the app and the blood sugar meter to a user-requested approach solved the issue I had with this app. The older version wouldn’t sync occasionally and there was no way to force a synchronization. Now, the app syncs with the meter on request.

I don’t have the blood pressure measurement device that this app supports but I see that this version of the app supports synchronization of blood pressure measurements.

### 5/5 — My Thoughts About This App

*2023-03-13*

If I remember correctly I have been using this App going on 2 years now and it has had about 2 really good updates, I’m still getting used to it. It’s not a “like or dislike”, it’s a tool to measure and while I would like for it to contain more helpful information I can understand the limitations of this App, so I will give it more thought as I continue to use it. See no real input🤭

### 5/5 — Data download

*2023-03-05*

This apps needs the capability to download entire database of BP readings to an Excel or comma delimited format file. This way when my doctor ask for my BP, I can provide the the entire history, rather than a point in time snapshot - give them the ability to see the BP change over time. Right now the way KP works, my primary care physicians do not see the history just the alert when BP is over threshold of target goal.

### 5/5 — This app is wonderful

*2023-01-13, version 2.0.1*

This Kaiser app is wonderful. It keeps me disciplined to take my daily readings. If something is wrong, I am sure I will hear from my doctor.

### 5/5 — Member

*2022-12-16, version 2.0.1*

I use it twice a day to send readings to Kaiser Drs. They read them and make adjustments in my medication.
The results are positive it makes me to want to get better following their constant checking my progress
My A1C was over 7 or so last month my latest result 6.1 The Kaiser system works if you work the system Thank you. John Glass

### 5/5 — Kaiser scores again

*2022-11-29*

Kaiser is the most proactive healthcare provider I’ve ever experienced. If our doctor sees something out of kilter, we are hounded by our Kaiser doctors to remedy the situation, on multiple levels. those levels include extensive lab work, in person doctor visits, and health education just to name a few things. this app fits right in with that philosophy. This app has changed my glucose monitoring from a random haphazard disorganized mess, into a very disciplined system. Constantly reminding me if I forget to take my readings.
