The plain white background with black text is a bit droll, but I do like the font type that was used. ### 5/5 — Good App *2024-07-17* It’s great for when I want a quick review of local and national headlines, straightforward in true NPR fashion -and I like how North County gets its own section, too. What follows is my original review/suggestion: “Can you consider these updates: 1). When I’m listening to KPBS, the audio continues to play even when I choose to play audio from another app - there must be a way for you to offer me a setting in which I don’t have to go back and pause KPBS, but that it automatically pauses when another audio is played? 2). PLEASE fix the lack of landscape display - IPads are almost always in landscape (horizontal) mode when docked, and KPBS doesn’t detect the portrait or landscape motion and change. If it has to be “stuck” can’t you stick the Ipad app mode in landscape vs. portrait?” ### 5/5 — KPBS *2019-07-28* There’s not a better newscast being reported than KPBS.. Reliable, Trustworthy, Accurate, Timely, Professional news being reported with Integrity, Honesty and this “IS NOT FAKE NEWS”, by any stretch of the imagination!! Was able to watch 3 episodes of Grant hester, but cannot access it anymore. The 3 bars in the top left corner do not respond. ### 2/5 — New version is terrible. *2024-06-18* The new version of the office is terrible. There seems to be way less content. I don’t scroll around looking for things anymore. I can’t find my local stations to listen to anymore. I deleted the app and went back to HD radio instead, which can be static-y. 😕 ### 2/5 — Frustrating *2020-08-31* using the app is extremely frustrating but it stops working a lot, gets caught in a loop and repeats over and over again. same with the internet live stream. the only time i can ever listen without issue is in my car. very frustrating. ### 2/5 — Has issues reconnecting to network *2020-02-21* The app is very nice when it works, but it is very annoying when used in an area where the cell network is weak. The app does not reconnect properly when the signal becomes stronger. I’ve deleted and redownloaded and checked for updates, but it still crashes. ### 3/5 — Great news source, crappy app *2021-02-16* I use this app only for streaming the news. However, it buffers often, just stopping the news midstream. It also often tells me it’s playing when it’s not so I have to pause and play multiple times until it actually plays.
