It is pretty good right now, but they seem to do updates all the time. That tells me they care and that makes me care.lol Too many times have I spent my hard earned money on apps only to have them left incomplete and lacking. I’m a huge fan of eurorack/Modular and this is a great outlet for me on the road or at appointments! Thanks to the developers for keeping new and useful updates coming!!!!!

This is an amazing deal! A great simulation with a lot of possibilities, there's a nice selection of modules with some handy boolean and utilities. My only quibble is the knobs are a little fiddly, but a fine tune window pops up. Midi learn would be a perfect addition. And many new presets, about 70 total now. Good examples of the basics and more. Oh, and it sounds great too!

I'm having fun with this synth. It's a fully modular synth model with the limits not on the amount of modules but on the device running it. I don't understand what all the modules, knobs and inputs do but I am sure I can find enough info on modules and patching online to figure it all out as it seems to be pretty close to what is in use in analog set ups. The interface is very logical, easy to use and move around on, much better than other modular synth models on iOS. I like the rack mount style too because it gives a basic reference for how everything gets connected. The sound is very decent for playing around on and experimenting. The graphics could be slicker, but I kind of like that 90s raw software look to it. If the interface functions as smoothly as this does then looks really don't matter. Better this than the other way around. Congratulation to the dev for a nicely thought out app.

オシレーターやミキサーなどを自由に組み合わせて作るタイプのシンセサイザー。難易度は高いと思いますが、面白いです。
まず、プリセットは一応ありますが、少ないです。「自分で音を作り出す」という使い方がメインになると思います。
有名なiOS向けシンセサイザーといえばMoog社のAnimoogやiceGearのXenonあたりが有名でしょうが、このソフトの最大の魅力は「AudioUnits対応」でしょう。iOS版GarageBandが今年に入って対応し、追加音源として使えます(オーディオ形式ではなくGB側のシーケンサーで打ち込めるというわけです)。
音作りは難しいですが、手探りで組み合わせて行くと、ものすごくいい音が作れます。ここからさらにモジュールをふやし、ケーブルでつなぐとどうなるか・・・と、試行錯誤を重ねて作るのが、なかなか面白いと思います。しかし、間違ったつなぎ方をすると、勝手に音が鳴り出し、時に爆音を響かせてしまうことがあるので、イヤフォンやヘッドフォンを用いる場合は注意が必要です(とりあえずアンプの出力端子は最後に繋いだ方がいいかもしれません)。
たまに落ちることもあるので、そこはこれから改善していって欲しいです。

KQ MiniSynth is a fantastic modular synth it's a great instrument and it sounds Fabulous. I hope it continues to be supported to become something even more spectacular than the sum of all its parts. There is a great deal of potential here.

I'd be lying if I pretended I understood even 20% of what this app can do - modular synths usually aren't my thing.  But KQ MiniSynth has 3 things going for it: (1) It's cheap; (2) It's universal; and (3) It's works as an Audio Units (AU) instrument - one of the few functioning instrument apps as of early 2016.  There's tons of capability to shape different sounds - I believe it comes with about 15 presets, but tons of slots for your own.  Some of the sounds from it can be raw or harsh, but integrated with some nice FX and an EQ (like from the AUFX series), I got some pretty cool sounds from it.  It can be a bit hard to use the controls on iPhone, but it's an app that will stay on my device and probably get more and more use as I get better with it.

Nach 2 Updates in kürzester Zeit sind die Kinderkrankheiten beseitigt und der Synthie ist durchaus als gelungen zu bezeichnen.
Er bietet eine gute Grundlage um in den Bereich der subtraktiven Synthese einzusteigen. 
Nach Update sind nun auch die Kabel sichtbar.
Es macht Spaß, mit dieser App zu spielen.
Das Einzige, was ich vermisse, ist ein kleiner 8-step Sequencer zur Modulation.

Plutôt que mettre à jour celui là on ressort une version 2026 très peu différente et on repasse à la caisse pour 10 euros pour ravoir le Synth qu’on avait déjà . Marre de ces pratiques commerciales vous ne respectez pas vos clients !

**Developer response:** Si votre ancien logiciel fonctionne correctement, il n'est pas nécessaire d'acheter la nouvelle version. L'achat de la version groupée vous permet de mettre à niveau à moindre coût. Nous avons créé une nouvelle application autonome afin de verrouiller les binaires de l'ancienne application, d'assurer la compatibilité avec les nouveaux systèmes d'exploitation et d'abandonner certaines des anciennes fonctionnalités. Cette décision a été difficile à prendre.

Abgesehen davon, dass ich keine chinesisch-japanischen Schriftzeichen entziffern kann, was von dieser App vorausgesetzt wird, ist das GUI total unübersichtlich und alles andere als klar. Anhand der Presets lässt sich erkennen, dass es sich um Module handelt, nicht jedoch, welche Quellen welche Ziele beeinflussen. Im Übrigen macht   das notorische Keyboard bei einem Modularsynthesizer nur als ein Modul unter vielen Sinn, ein echter Modularsynthesizer kommt auch ohne aus.

機能を割り切ることで個性とするものが多い中で、淡々としつつ、その逆を行くようなシンセみたいです。すごく良いです。使いこなせません(笑)。
使いこなせないついでに、将来こちらに、加算演算式のモジュールなんか追加されたらすごく良いなあ、って思います。iPadのインターフェイスだと、加算演算式でも試行錯誤しやすいと思うので。

藤本ケンのdtmステーションで紹介されているのを見て購入。
海外では話題になっているとのこと。
使ってみた感じはまだ最初なのでわからない部分も多いのですが、korgのアプリとかに比べても良い感じです。
もう少し画面がkorgのアプリみたいにかっこよかったらもっと良かったのですが許容範囲です。
面白そうなアプリでなおかつ安いので、もう少しいじってみようと思います。

地味だけど良いです。アップデートで段々良くなっていってます。

音に個性は感じないが、動作が非常に軽い。作り込んでいくことも出来る。

不満はある。モジュール同士を結線する際に、画面右上のOKボタンを押さないと出音に反映されないところ。ims20のように結線した瞬間に出音に反映してほしい

So far so good. There are still a couple of things that need addressed (audio range modulation of filter and inverted envelope when patched into filter CV input) but overall...pretty impressive. I still have more to check out (like MIDI) but from playing on iPad Air, it's tons o' fun and polyphonic!

This synth is very powerful and works without much fuss if you are use to routing. Dev was extremely responsive when I had an issue and released a fix for it quickly.

Synth takes low resources which is great. I wish I could midi map to all/more of the knobs in my patch but there is more than enough to get something good going.

I LOVE this soft synth. So much fun to experiment with. There are very limited instructions so you are really forced to try new things and see what happens, which is cool. 

Very realistic and detailed. You can learn all about signal paths and how modules effect one another, without having to set up a whole eurorack. I love the sounds I can get out of my patches and have sampled them many times!

This is haunted modular synthesis. FM mayhem and mind slicing photon rays create ice beams. Quite well in fact japan has a day devoted to this developer and is also worshiped in some exotic sound labs.

I have to rate this app with 5 stars as it exceeds all expectations for such a low cost. It also beats a lot of the competition for the simple and easy to use UI. Very flexible and usable. A great way to learn modular synthesis.

Somewhat suprised that no one else has left any feedback considering how long it has been in the app store and the fact that the developer has frequently updated it.

I’ve bought quite a few iOS synths...in a short time ;) this one might require a bit more study and effort but you can do sooooo much with it. FM and analogue! A mix of the two! I’m still learning but I’ve already created some great stuff by tweaking the presets and building from scratch isn’t that hard.
