### 4/5 — Short, but very entertaining!

*2014-11-27, version 1.3*

I love this game so much it entertains me for hours on end! However, I'm sad to say I've given four out of five stars because there are not enough levels to play for a game that I paid a $1.99 for. If there were more levels this would be a five star game! Please make more levels!!!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2014-04-13, version 1.3*

This is the best iOS game I have played in many years. I have sat awake many nights trying to land the perfect run. There is alot of depth to this game and its got the perfect "one more try" aspect to it. The physics are great and the ragdog effect is very entertaining on failed runs. Can not recommend this game enough! The controls are difficult to master so be patient! It's very rewarding when you get it down!

I have been keeping an eye out for the new levels! Can't wait to try then out! Thanks for the continues support and updates of you app! Great developer!

### 5/5 — Think you're good? Think again

*2014-03-30, version 1.3*

This little gem is driving me nuts - in a good way. It's got great sound to go along with the minimal graphical aesthetic. Admittedly I stink at the game, but its still fun to bomb down the slopes and try to take out those nasty robots.

Update: the learning curve is pretty steep, but once you dial in it is super happy fun time.

Spend a dollar. Have a go. I'm sitting at 60/60 stars. :)

Update2: the long awaited app update came and brought awesome new challenges. Still can't get all three stars on extreme yet.

Get. This. Game.

Update3: holy balls the purple level is hard - but this game continues to get better. Thanks to the developer for his persistence! It's worth a download. You won't regret it (unless you're a wuss)

### 5/5 — Five Stars !!!!!

*2014-03-05, version 1.2.1*

I FINALLY cracked all 3 points at the last Orange level. I must have run that one 200 times. The team that designed this game gets a standing ovation from me. That last level was SO nuanced! with a great build up of skills acquired through all of the levels orange and prior.

### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2014-01-23, version 1.2.1*

This is one of those games which has a learning curve. And you will have to pay attention to each nook and cranny the game is trying to teach you at each step because it all comes together in later stages.

### 5/5 — A brilliant iOS indie hit

*2014-01-11, version 1.2.1*

I'll just be blunt - I deleted Krashlander off my devices numerous times. Yet, it kept pulling me back in. Once I finally grasped the unique controls scheme, I simply couldn't put this addictive game down.

Krashlander is a shining example of the creativity and risk that this mobile market can offer and should be given a try by all gamers who aren't afraid of a challenge.

### 5/5 — Fun and dynamic

*2013-10-26, version 1.2*

This is not your typical "iPhone game". The way it uses the physics in the gameplay is amazing andI can sit and play this game for hours at a time, while other games don't give that.
This game deserves a TON more attention and it needs to be a featured app. Replace this with Angry Birds and you're set!

### 5/5 — Awesome game that I've been replaying since the release

*2013-10-12, version 1.2*

I've beaten every level hundreds of times and have played every level from 1 to 20 in a row without dying. I love the game and am so excited to try out the new content in the update and keep it coming!

### 5/5 — Almost perfect

*2013-07-08, version 1.0*

This is by far my favorite game I have ever played. I got all of the stars on every level multiple times. The only problem is that the game just isn't finished. It needs more levels to play, possibly different characters to play as, and a create your own level option where the levels are shareable then playable by the online community. I love this game and would love it even more if these changes were added.

### 5/5 — Takes real skill and pretty fun

*2013-04-13, version 1.0*

Just finished the game. It took a few days but that is the point. It's challenging and kept my attention. Understanding acrobatics is helpful and I suspect the gamers who complained about the controls don't get how acrobatic tumbling works

Definitely worth the price

PS. Make more levels!!

### 4/5 — More levels!

*2013-03-15, version 1.0*

Fun in a very subtle way, not a button masher. Physics are fun in this game. I beat all the levels and then went back and got three stars in each in about 6 hours of play. I am still having fun playing the levels over, but want more levels! Update: still playing this awesome game. It is in the running for my longest played iOS game

### 4/5 — Definitely Do It

*2013-03-07, version 1.0*

Please ignore the one bad review and spend your money. For a game that has this much control over your gameplay, it's easy to justify having such intuitive ways of moving the character. Very interesting game. One of the many reasons I continue to play is to watch the little robots get hurt.

### 5/5 — JUMP!

*2013-02-27, version 1.0*

This is probably the most frustrating game I've yet to play on my iPad. However, it has taught me a great deal about patience and finesse. It's important not to over react or over anticipate a maneuver. Everything must be perfect in order for each segment to complete. Persistence is the key and soon you'll be a master of the slopes. The controls are amazing and after a short time I was caring about the little jumper so much that even though I knew he would crash I tried to make his flailing landings as controlled as possible and as painless as possible. Thanks to the creators of Krashlander!

### 5/5 — Addictive

*2013-02-26, version 1.0*

Can't put it down!! Played and played till I got one attempt on all even the only two attempt course. Would like some maps where turn one and two are different. More of a challenge! Need more levels!!

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2013-02-22, version 1.0*

This game will take some getting used to, but after you've mastered the controls and figured out techniques to get you out of jams, it'll be really fun. You'll have to reply each level about 5 times, so that you'll know exactly how to beat it. Within each level, there's a very slim margin of error, so you don't have to be completely perfect to beat it. Overall, it's a great game. Just waiting on more levels!

### 5/5 — One of the best iOS games I've played

*2013-02-20, version 1.0*

The controls are a challenge to get the hang of, but that's really part of the fun. I've played through the levels a few times now and it's still a lot of fun. Can't wait for more levels to be added!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Ultimately: Frustrating

*2013-02-15, version 1.0*

Please hear me when I say this...
Don't buy this. It's not fun. It's not worth finding out for yourself.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt this needed one. I love the mechanics, but mechanics alone don't make a game.
They are amazing, but they don't allow you any real control over the character.

Time after time I'd think,
"Okay, if I adjust this way on this jump, then I'll stick the landing." But it never works the same way.

I love iOS games. I love physics games.
This is not a physics game.
If this was a ragdoll game, where you just racked up as many points as possible, it would be better. Sadly, that's not the case.

I would like to say to the developer,
"Please adjust it for more control" but that would be changing the core of what this is. It's not going to happen.

So I WILL say, "Great attempt! Don't be bummed by bad reviews. Keep creating. You have great vision. :)"

I will keep trying and trying to beat the levels to my own fault, but that doesn't mean anyone else has to.
It's not fun to play.

### 1/5 — Frustrating needs updated controls

*2013-02-10, version 1.0*

I read reviews all the time and this game promised to be really fun addicting inspired, you know the usual praise. I wanted to love it and tried replaying several times but it's just too difficult. Every move needs to be so precise even on the first few levels, the learning curve is just too large. If the developers read these negative reviews and actually listen and care then with a little tweaking we might just have ourselves a gem of a game.

### 1/5 — Really?

*2013-02-09, version 1.0*

I could really care less about the developers of this game stealing my dollar. I have plenty of money and have spent plenty on bad apps but none as bad as this. This is the first time in all these years of owning an iPhone that I've ever left a review! That should tell you enough! This is bad! No good points at all. The best part was deleting it! I am serious. It was fun. If it was free I would say the same thing.

PS - I can't believe I have to give it a star to post this review!!!!! If a negative review was ever in order it is right here!!!!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Nice idea, but too difficult

*2013-02-08, version 1.0*

This game feels more like a physics demo than a game to me.

I love the simplicity of a skier jumping and landing on targets, but controlling the spin of the skier in the air is basically impossible. It's extremely difficult to get a feel for the cause and effect of how he will fly through the air, making it almost random chance when he makes a landing.

The first three levels of the game are totally brain dead simple to win, then level four goes hardcore and is ridiculously difficult.

Don't get me wrong... I think it's fine when a game presents a challenge, but the way in which the skier behaves in the air is extremely finicky and the controls get in the way more than they allow you to learn and grow as you make the effort.

I'm all for 99 cent games being simple, but this one I think could have spent more time with play testing.

### 2/5 — Not for me

*2016-01-06, version 1.4.1*

I really tried my hardest to like this game. I played the entire blue world to give it a fair shot. Just not into it. Nice design and it seems like a lot of effort was put into the game, but it just doesn't do it for me.

### 2/5 — Crummy

*2013-11-08, version 1.2.1*

After playing through several levels I can say that this certainly doesn't deserve 5 stars. The way you control your rider is confusing, the levels are designed oddly, and passing them is sheer luck and a whole lot of tries. You have to hope when you come to a jump you somehow manage to get the game to move you up when you jump, but most of the time your go DOWN. Not worth a download

### 3/5 — Not the best

*2016-03-02, version 1.4.1*

With the rave reviews I thought it would be an amazing physics game, but within the first few (frustrating) minutes of playing it I realized it was not the case. In this game, the graphics are passive but not impressive and the controls are strange. You have to pick poses to be in and you can lean forward, backward and jump. I don't see how it is an amazing physics game supposedly. Alto's Adventure is prettier and funner game alternative.

### 3/5 — too difficult for me

*2013-10-30, version 1.2*

This game is extremely difficult. In fact, too difficult for me. I'm giving up.

Getting accustomed to the controls at first is the biggest challenge. Then, by the time you get a pretty good grasp on the controls, the tracks are so complicated and advanced, that they're just about impossible to complete. I'm still playing as a 'novice' (got as far as Orange World #6), and some tracks required at least 100 attempts before I managed to advance.

Yes, I know games like this are supposed to be challenging and difficult, but not to a point where it's just too frustrating where I'm saying to myself, 'enough of this! Time to try something else where I can achieve some level of success.'

The physics are impressive. The graphics and colors are really great. But it's so frustrating that it's just not worth it.

### 3/5 — Flipping hard

*2013-02-20, version 1.0*

It's not surprising that there Are only 20 levels. This is the most challenging game I've played on the iPhone. It's almost not fun, but not necessarily because its hard, but because the physics matter nothing when you are in the air. When you are ski jumping, you have some senses of balance and aerodynamics while in the air. Or you wouldn't be vertical ever. Here it just seems that moment and inertia rule the day and your skis have little to do with the control while in air.

### 3/5 — The hardest thing about this game are.....

*2013-02-15, version 1.0*

.......the controls......which is sad. Add tilt controls and that may be the difference. It's like you made weird controls just to make weird controls, not as an improved way of playing the game. It's like having to learn something totally dysfunctional just to try and enjoy the game play. The physics seem to be spot on, but the lack of control over the skier makes it frustrating because you can tell how fun it could be you didn't have to master controls that beg for change. Don't worry about using controls that seem obvious or 'just like other games'. If the physics and the tracks are challenging and fun, then it will sell itself. If you think you need bizarro controls for the game to be interesting, then you are sabotaging what could be really fun game. As it stands, it's like playing baseball on a soccer field and increasingly frustrating because if you fail on the first 3 turns, why keep playing. It's no fun being granted levels out of pity because we are forced to use your ridiculous controls. Get over yourselves and add some tilt controls and let us have some real fun playing this game rather than having it fight against you. Crossing fingers you are open minded enough to at least provide some optional controls so we can use them if we choose. Thanks....

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Most fun physics based game

*2024-02-27*

So much fun, great to kill time with. Easy to obsess over

### 5/5 — A MUST PLAY- sad it never blew up

*2020-07-31, version 1.4.1*

I really loved this game. I have to complain that the developer took a year to make each word on the app. And last time I check, still the final level was never completed. Huge bummer. This game should have blow up. One of my favorite apps.

### 5/5 — Hours of entertainment!!!

*2017-01-17, version 1.4.1*

1st review I've ever written. Great job guys.... absolute blast:-)

### 5/5 — Best app ever, only review ever.

*2016-02-11, version 1.4.1*

Best game I have ever played for iPhone. I have never written a review or rated a game before but I want this one to get support and add more content because I can't play it enough.

### 5/5 — Best game I've ever played on iPhone

*2015-12-29, version 1.4.1*

I don't usually leave reviews for games. I consider my reviews precious little gems that I only gift when extremely impressed with something. This is one of those rare times. This is the physics game I've always wanted. It's fun, simple, addictive, well designed and thoughtfully programmed. Why this isn't a top game I'll never know. This game developer should win an award for making, what I'm going to call: the perfect iPhone game.

### 5/5 — Best game ever

*2015-11-26, version 1.4.1*

Hands down best game I have ever played on the iPhone

### 5/5 — Challenged my memory and reaction

*2015-10-05, version 1.3*

The game kept me very interested. One of the few games I actually loved playing. Lots of fun with laughing out loud and spontaneous swearing. I got very little else accomplished while playing. How many times did I say, "just one more attempt"? I hope there's new levels. Thanks for the entertainment. Oh, I only did it on novice. I'll go back and try the next level.

### 5/5 — One of the best

*2015-08-26, version 1.3*

Beat it on all difficulties multiple times and it is still a blast. Wish the levels went on forever.
[Don't trust the reviews claiming lack of control, once you figure it out you have fun control even on the hardest difficulty. You don't always want to explicitly jump sometimes riding off the ramp is just what you need. ]

### 5/5 — Follow this " AMAZING " Developer ❗️

*2015-05-13, version 1.3*

This game is making me late for everything!!! If I turn it on I won't turn it off or stop. Ha, I won't even stop to plug it in, then play until the battery on my phone dies. Lol, the designer of this game needs to be awarded with something!!
The physics in this game are spot on to what I think the reality of skiing would actually be . I really don't know how he or she did this. I wish that the developer would read this review and contact me so I could praise him one to one and find out who they are so I know to follow him in whatever he created and creates in the future.
I never review anything and had to comment on this app.
If you start playing and work threw the intense learning curve "WARNING" you will NOT be able to put this game down I love,love.....

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2014-12-03, version 1.3*

This game is very addicting! I love the way it plays. I would love to see more levels though! I can't put it down! I do have two suggestions though........................#1-Make the option to save replays to the camera roll. #2-When you save a replay, you should be able to only save the last try instead of the entire failing montage. The video will go for 3 or 4 minutes before you get to the part you really want to see. Other than that, GREAT JOB!!!!!
