## What is Kreel Feed Collector?

Kreel finds the RSS and Atom feeds hiding on the sites you already read, and gets them out of the browser and into a file you can actually use.

Turn capture on and just browse. Kreel quietly detects feeds on every page you visit, collects them into one basket without duplicates, and lets you export the ones you want.

What it does

Detects declared feeds (link rel="alternate") plus any feeds linked on the page.
Digs out feeds that sites don't advertise, using common paths and platform detection for WordPress, Substack, Medium, Blogger, Ghost, Tumblr, and Shopify, plus constructed feeds for YouTube channels, Reddit, and GitHub.
Validates every feed before adding it, so you don't collect dead links.
De-duplicates as it goes, so the same site never lands in your list twice.
Pick what you want with checkboxes, search, and manage everything in a full list view.

Export

Excel (.xlsx), ready to import into the Safe & Informed app.
OPML, for any other RSS reader.
Or copy all the URLs to your clipboard.

Private

Kreel has no servers, no accounts, and no tracking. Everything happens locally in your browser, so your feeds and your browsing never leave your device. The only network requests are read-only checks that confirm a feed is real.
