You have to purchase before you can check to see if you can port your number. I think these are scammers, stealing $15 at a time. But I struggle with sending SMS messages and sending attachments and links. So it doesn’t really replace a cell phone. So I don’t recommend it until they fix the texting. It forces you to pay $24 for the local Kenyan number, then tell you that you need a local address with the ID in order to use the number! There’s no refund. The app fails on many levels but most of all it is not intuitive. Gosh I got suckered! **Developer response:** We are really sorry to hear about the issue with your number activation. Generally, if a number hasn’t been activated, we do provide a refund, and we also have a 14-day subscription refund policy. Sometimes the audio doesn’t work when a call is answered on the phone. Sometimes it doesn’t let you stay logged into both mobile and desktop at the same time. It constantly logs you out of the mobile app, then it doesn’t autofill the login with password manager and it always requires 2 factor authentication.
