I’ve used this app for quite a while now and I do love building up my points throughout the month and trading them in for as many discounts as possible, for my first grocery order of the following month.
There are two improvements I wish could happen though:

1. Life is so busy and I don’t always remember to look for the new bonus opportunities and opt in. Often, I open the app and then realize I didn’t opt in for a grocery order I just got. I wish it could automatically opt you in.

2. The prior months bonus points don’t rollover to the current month. Even if you trade in your prior months points for discounts and end up with 99 points left, you can’t use them at all because the minimum trade-in amount is 100 points, and those 99 points don’t carryover to the current month so that you can combine them. It’s really aggravating because I spent the money to earn those points and/or I opted in to bonuses to earn those points, and I should be able to use them.

Sometimes app does not load and keep trying. However if app open and loaded successfully then it works as expected. I am able to collect bonus and points then able to redeem them and save some money. If occasional app loading problem is resolved then it deserves 5 stars.

I can’t even get this app to open. I’ve used it for quizzes and trying to earn points. I tried to open it about two weeks ago and it wouldn’t open. I’ve been trying to open it ever since. I’ve tried everything I know to do. I’m at the point where I’m just going to delete it and forget about it

I loved this app, but then I noticed when my Mother was accumulating a ton of points, her app stopped working. I called customer service and they said some tech was going to call and help. Now that I’m starting to earn more points, mine won’t work. Guessing it’s only to get people to start spending more money, then the more you spend and points gained you no longer have access to redeem points gained for coupons.

This app worked great as long as I wasn’t in a Kroger store using their WiFi. Now it’s extremely glitchy and circles the drain every time I try to open it. I get push notifications about extra point opportunities but if the app won’t load I can’t take advantage of them. Very frustrating!

Still wish this was part of the Kroger app where I online shop and clip digital coupons. 

I like the ability to earn rewards but I think when there are no rewards remaining that match level of my points from prior month, that I should be able to combine and use points with rewards available for current month.

I like this app a lot. I actively complete any bonuses and surveys applicable to me at the time and am able to save so much from my purchases. But the one thing I’d like to see would be the ability to roll over points from month to month.

The only issue is I’ve had is that I haven’t received the 300 points promised for joining community rewards last month. 

Other things I’d like to see in this app:
1) points rollover month to month 
2)a way to contact customer service in the app vs a phone number.

So aggravating that points don’t roll over!! I’m getting points based on the amount of money I spend, but then I can’t even use my leftover points because there aren’t any rewards under 100 points, and I can’t combine them with the following months points. I have 84 points from March…that don’t expire until April 30th…but I’ll never be able to use those 84 points because they don’t roll into my April points. Such a waste.

Agree with others, this is a great idea. But there are major problems: like you qualify for the $1.50 reward for Kroger brands but you can’t ever purchase it. Whaaaaaat? You get an error message that says please try again. I’ve made 25 attempts over several weeks and no dice. Also there doesn’t seem to be a way to combine the remaining points from last month and some points from this month to purchase a reward. So the leftover points from last month will just expire. Plus you don’t get a lot of time to use the points you accumulate.  Finally, there used to be a 200 point purchase option but it has disappeared from the reward menu. The app is almost too annoying to use, great idea that is starting to feel like a negative. Fix it already, Kroger!

I was sent something in the mail, telling me to download their new app. I tried to sign up and was given a prompt saying that it was an invite only app… I wouldn’t have known about the app unless they told me about it, sooo that’s kind of an invite. Am I wrong?

The idea is great, but the app and some of the policies need help to move it out of the realm of 'frustrating'-- the points need to roll over from month to month, and the bonuses offered need to actually be awarded.

I’m on ios 17 and something seems to have changed causing the app to stay on the initial splash screen with the spinner spinning continuously. It’s a hit or miss whether it eventually loads. Also, I don’t understand why you have 2 different apps to track rewards for Kroger. Please find a way to integrate fresh mode into the main Kroger app itself.

It hasn’t been able to open for the past few weeks.  I can delete the app and add it back.  The app will work when reinstalled, but after it will just spin and never let you back in.   Previously I reached out to customer service because it wouldn’t let me “purchase” a $10 off my order, I lost those points.  Someone was supposed to reach out and help, that was in August.   Developers need to push a major hot fix.

This app (WHEN you can log in) does offer savings. However, along w/e-coupons, CashBack, & weekly deals, it contributes to the hoops customer has to jump thru to get those savings in 1 trip. That’s WHEN it works-50% of the time. Not sure frustration is worth couple of dollars - WHEN/if they’re finally credited.

Worked great the first few months I had it. Then was unable to open the app for a long time. Months it would not load. Finally today I deleted the app and reinstalled to see if that would work. App now loads but I cannot log in. When I try to reset my password it tells me there is a problem with my email address. On a whim I tried setting up my account again and was told it was by invite only. I have an account. This is so frustrating. Please fix Kroger

I received a printout at the register upon checkout. When attempting to create an account, it stated “invite only” and would not allow me to proceed. I thought the cashier may have given me someone else’s receipt, but I watched it print out after I entered my loyalty number. I’ll change my rating if I eventually do gain access.

I love this app and I have no idea why there are so many low ratings. I’ve never had any trouble getting the app to work and I’m able to use almost all my points every month. I usually wait to accumulate enough points to redeem the largest reward and then I try to accumulate enough for the next largest reward and so on. I have saved so much money, but I am sad to learn they are ending the fresh mode app 3/27. Please reconsider!! Groceries are so expensive now and it was nice to have another way to save money.

I absolutely LOVE the fresh mode app!  I’ve saved a lot of money using it. My only complaint is I don’t know how to invite ppl. There isn’t a share button or invite button. Also I’m just learning from a friend that this is may only for iPhone users only?  Correct me if I’m wrong please.

I’m shocked people are complaining about this app. It saves me lots of money. Yes you need to be organized & use your coupon rewards but they give you plenty of time to redeem. 
This app is used in addition to the Kroger app where you can already save lots with digital coupons. 
Can’t rave enough about this Fresh Mode program & I hope it continues.

I had it for a year now, it’s a really great app if you learn how to properly use it. When you first start they give you points for completing surveys, but the more you shop the more points you earn and you’ll be able to purchase the rewards. The only problem I have is when I’m in the store it won’t open up so I normally try to clip my rewards before I head to the store

I really enjoyed this grocery savings app. I consistently opted in for 2x and 4x points for shopping on Fridays. I was able to save anywhere from $10-30 per grocery shopping trip. Other reviews mentioned glitches that prevented them from using their points to purchase discounts. I only experienced this glitch once. Hopefully this program will be replaced with something else.

I love the additional savings/products I can earn with my points. I find it very disappointing that there aren’t enough offers to spend your previous months points. I purchased every offer except the $20. Off of groceries and lost 895 points because I didn’t have enough to purchase that last offer! I can see it will take skillful planning to use as many points as possible and I will still leave points on the table even then!
I will still use this app and hopefully use, not lose more points! Maybe previous points should be awarded new offers at month end?!? Or at least allow purchases of new months offers with previous months points!

It won’t open at all anymore. There is no update needed or app and I am up to date with the current iOS software update. Randomly all the sudden won’t open. I love this app when it works though. Such a great added perk when grocery shopping anyway!
