The purpose of online shopping is to be able to make purchases. There is no way to reorder a prescription. Nor is there no way to have recurring orders. Sad!! So every month, several times a month I have call and wait for someone to finally answer. Sad!! Might have to go back to CVS. ### 2/5 — Great Savings But App Is Annoying *2021-04-09, version 1.1.0* I love the savings from being a member, but I hate the fact that the app requires you to login by typing your email address and password every time you use it. This takes time, especially since the login screen is not the initial screen that comes up and you have to click to get to it. ### 2/5 — App is in need of work *2021-02-11, version 1.1.0* I think the app needs a user to be able to save the list of drugs they take. The user should be able to edit or delete the drug selected. It should also show the last time it was ordered. Need a way to log in with a finger print so that a password does not need to be typed. It takes to long if your at the pharmacy. I’m sure other users may have other suggestions. ### 1/5 — Can’t find app *2021-01-28, version 1.1.0* I downloaded this app today and it is nowhere on my phone (at least not where I can find it). I’ve looked in every single folder too. I have to open it from the search bar. Has this happened to anyone else? ### 1/5 — Every prescription was MORE money! *2021-01-16, version 1.1.0* I would think since they use the name GoodRX in the title they would be held accountable but apparently not! The Kroger discount price if I become a member again is for example 125$ vs good RX having it at the same Kroger for 32$... what a scam! ### 1/5 — Would some navigation buttons be that hard? *2020-10-08, version 1.1.0* The app has no way of navigating it. Accidentally open the meds list oops, have to shut app down to get back to the Home Screen. Want to search multiple meds? Have to hit the top menu and start over every time. Also, don’t hit the wrong button while transferring prescriptions. Have to go to top menu and start the process from scratch. Great program absolutely horrible app! ### 2/5 — Great savings *2020-09-06, version 1.1.0* It’s definitely worth the money saving especially for myself. I have to see if it will be worth it for my family. BUT the app itself is worthless. It’s only function is to show you your card and then I have to log in every time, there is no way to add to Apple wallet which would be a basic help. Most importantly you cannot do anything on it, it’s hard to navigate to find prices, there is no way to refill (which I would think would be the point), my history never shows up. Considering Kroger has such a comprehensive grocery app one would think they would be on top of good chain on pharmacy app. At least on GoodRx I can save all my coupons and drugs. Kroger you are better than this!! ### 2/5 — Can’t login with my Google account *2020-08-03, version 1.1.0* I registered with my Google account; however, I can’t log in with my Google account on the app but I can do it on the website. When I log in just using my gmail and password on the app, it tells me that the account was created with Google account but there’s no option for me to log in with Google! ### 1/5 — RIP OFF!!! *2020-07-20, version 1.1.0* I’m paying $20 for prescription and I sign u for Kroger’s membership because it says it will save me even more. I signed up and it the. Would let me look up my prescription, it’s $300!!!! Didn’t save anything! It made the price go up. #RipOff! ### 1/5 — App needs work *2020-07-17, version 1.1.0* The program is awesome. It saves me so much money. But the app needs some updates. Other apps like this notifies you when a prescription needs filled and lets you know by text that is ready. It is an ok app but it could be much better. ### 2/5 — Not useful app *2020-06-20, version 1.1.0* I am not reviewing the Rx plan. That has saved a great deal of money-I just requested refills, so I guess I will see what the amount is then. From my understanding-your first purchase is very low, but future purchases are more expensive. I’ll find out tomorrow. Now for the app. I find it useless. Yes you can search drugs and find out pricing. I want an app for my current meds, quick refill request and how much it will cost. I have to use another app for that and it’s even subpar. Get some lessons on Walgreens on how a pharmacy app should perform. I would love to know about my plan. When will it expire etc. just not a good, useful app at all ### 2/5 — Can’t log in *2020-06-15, version 1.1.0* I signed up online using my google account “sign in with google”, but the option isn’t available on the app. When I tried to log in using my gmail and password it said that the account was created with google sign in and to sign in that way. Very frustrating! ### 2/5 — App does not allow refills *2020-06-11, version 1.1.0* It’s good for looking up meds but if you try to find a location you have to delete and reinstall the app to get back to home page. Also it will not allow refill orders, my primary reason to installing. Going to delete. ### 2/5 — Buggy app *2020-05-08, version 1.1.0* I used the app just fi e for awhile and am saving money on my prescriptions. However, it no longer works properly on my iPhone 6s. It starts and then goes away except it is running in the background. It also drains the battery. I can watch the percentage go down even after I have closed the app. It is nonfunctional for me at this point. This needs to be fixed for me to use it at this point. ### 2/5 — Poorly developed *2020-04-05, version 1.1.0* If you check for participating stores, the app opens a pdf with hundreds of store names & addresses nationwide. You can’t zoom in to this list to read, and you can’t exit the list! If you close the app and reopen it, the list is still there. I had to delete the app and reinstall it ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Poor *2023-02-17, version 1.1.0* The “my purchases “ feature is almost totally worthless. It frequently doesn’t record my wife’s purchases, it double records many of mine, it also double records some for my dog and also records some for my dog that were not filled. I have called twice to talk to a manager about the double recording and was told “it will disappear in a few days”. Guess what, it never does. It doesn’t get fixed. The supposed savings number is total fiction!! ### 1/5 — Terrible worthless app *2022-11-02, version 1.1.0* The browser works better than this. You can’t even click in the password field without it scrolling to the bottom of the page. It’s as if there’s an embedded anchor link preventing you from logging in. That’s a terrible bug to have in a live app for a billion dollar company. And when you sign up for text alerts, there’s no confirmation. You click it over and over thinking the internet went out or something, before getting flooded with a backlog of texts when they finally go through. There’s dozens of other issues, but it’s a waste of time to go into detail about them. ### 1/5 — The WORST !! *2022-09-19, version 1.1.0* Don’t use pharmacy Zero star can never prescriptions fill on time and you have to call follow up and go into for them to ever get filled ! The worst. ! ### 1/5 — The worst app *2022-08-14, version 1.1.0* Probably the worst app for a large chain i have ever seen. Have to constantly reset password and errors out when you do. Purchase history did not work until recently but still shaky. Call for help and they really don’t understand or really care. I see it was developed and last updated over 2 years ago by goodrx who Kroger has dropped. For a large chain you would think Kroger would care more. ### 1/5 — Very limited function *2022-06-26, version 1.1.0* Fails at the “Retailer App Requirement #1”: does the app offer the User any clear advantage or make life easier in some way? As far as I can tell, their website at krogersc does the same things - basically tout the savings club (which is a fantastic option BTW) and allow user to do drug price checking. I see NO ability to order refills through this app for example. ### 1/5 — Dud *2022-05-16, version 1.1.0* App used to load but it no longer does. Deleted it several times, reloaded, still won’t open on my iPhone 12. If I google it, it loads. App is defective. ### 1/5 — What if I just want to refill a simple rx? *2022-03-23, version 1.1.0* And I don’t want to be a part of the savings club? I can’t even do that. I can’t around it? I tried over and over and finally gave up! Not a fan. Might transfer all my prescriptions back to CVS. ### 1/5 — App is Useless - Hire App Developer PLEASE *2021-10-05, version 1.1.0* This app is useless and I am not sure why it even exists. The most basic function - refilling and ordering prescriptions - you can’t do. You can’t transfer prescriptions either. The app lags and will freeze and log you out so it’s always a gamble whether you can even open the app period. It’s not user friendly at all - we pay money for this program and a big part of the program is paying for the ability to access and manage your prescriptions, and you can’t do that. Kroger is partnered with GoodRX so I am not sure why they can’t just hire app developers and GoodRX staff so create an app that works and is user friendly. You also can’t add your card, that you pay for every year, to your apple wallet which is really inconvenient. This program has a lot of potential and it is a shame that the application created by Kroger is essentially useless and paying customers don’t have the ability to basic functions and tasks that should be accessible in order to offer the best or at least decent customer experience to ensure customer satisfaction. Really disappointed, I think this is a huge road block and reason new customers don’t join or switch to Kroger for RX. Kroger corporate should hire app programmers and staff to make the app worth using and utilizing. ### 1/5 — This app does NOT work. *2021-07-30, version 1.1.0* I’ve been on the phone w customer service agents and was checking one confirms that the version I have (joined KrogerRxSC in 2021) is broken with no plans or timetable to fix it. You CANNOT do anything on it-no refills, transfers, requests etc… I was told the best option is to go through your specific pharmacy location. It’s a complete waste and super frustrating. ### 1/5 — Help this App!! Is this Kroger? *2021-04-07, version 1.1.0* This app functions like a teenager developed it after school. Please see Walgreens for how a useful pharmacy app should work. I can’t even see if prescriptions have been ordered, pricing, etc. We switched from Walgreens for the savings but the repeat calls to the pharmacy to understand status, history, future orders, etc, it may not be worth it! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — App *2022-11-14, version 1.1.0* Love the app and savings. The app could use a back button and the ability to save the prescription savings card to the wallet on my iPhone for quicker and easier use. The first use of this program and it paid for itself and saved an additional 100 dollars! I was really impressed! Love the Kroger pharmacy! The location I use on a regular basis has fantastic employees! Always very helpful and friendly! ### 4/5 — To the Wallet *2022-08-14, version 1.1.0* Can the card be downloaded to My Wallet on my phone? ### 4/5 — Could be Better - but it is functional *2019-11-09, version 1.0* Just install the app on iOS and had no issue logging in or updating my settings. Drug lookup worked for the few Rx drugs I tried it with. The app works, but could be better. I suspect some of the low star reviews may be resolved by a better user-interface flow. For example when searching for a drug - probably a very common activity - why not make drug searching available on the screen without having to tap the top left icon where all functionality appears? Could be a banner below the title bar with 2 button areas - one for Kroger Pharmacy Search, and one for Drug lookup. When you select drug lookup provide a frame where you enter the name and the dosage - you could make it really easy by dynamically updating common dosages in a list view while we are typing in the Drug name - once you have enough of the name to be sure what we are looking for. Then once found, add a Favorite icon that when we tap it, the drug and dosage becomes one of our favorites and then the home page of the app could list our favorites along with other information such as refill date, Nr of refills remaining etc for each of our favorites. Lots of other ideas if you are interested in making the app great and get 5 starts from Kroger customers. You can email me directly. Already fill 3 or 4 prescriptions and pricing was great and accurate. They just started advertising this program at my Kroger’s pharmacy. I’d love to recommend this app because the savings is better than anywhere else. ### 3/5 — Great Program app needs work *2020-01-27, version 1.0* Like many others have mentioned, this program is a life savor. My employer recently chose to do away with offering insurance and my son takes some rather expensive medications. $75 for a family is worth every penny when his medication without insurance was $300. With Kroger RX it is now $13. Now the app, I am running it IOS 8 plus with the latest updates and the app crashes after a few minutes of looking up drug prices. The screen goes totally white and locks up. I have to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work again. I’m giving it 3 stars because it is a great program and the app has potential.
