I purchased a chapter only to be disappointed that it wasn't in English despite being on the English page. ### 1/5 — Translations?? *2024-06-16* If the App Store says it’s available in a language (English for me, for example) then there should be an option to switch to that language. I get that it’s a French company, but you shouldn’t say that you have something available if you don’t have it. ### 1/5 — Streaming season 4 *2024-05-26* How is it I can’t find anywhere in you app for me to stream the forth season of the show despite your sites claiming it would be on the launcher app? And on top of that the app is only available in French supposedly despite having my phones language set to English and there being no way I’ve found you to adjust to language settings. I’m at a loss. I’ve been a fan of the series for a while now, been waiting to finally see it and the special episode and the only supposed way I have to watch it doesn’t work. And yes, I purchased the fourth season of Wakfu from your store, I have the confirmation email for it. This is just kind of dejecting if I’m being honest. There seem to be problems with all of your sites based solely on my research to troubleshoot the language problem ### 1/5 — You Have Passionate English Fans Ankama *2024-04-12* I have been absolutely obsessed with the universe Ankama has crafted ever since I discovered Wakfu so many years ago. However, it is so very difficult to steep myself in most of the media as it is all in French. I get it, Ankama is a French company, created by the French, for French speaking people. But Ankama, do you understand how much of an international media powerhouse you could be if localization was the priority? I know for a fact Ankama has lost millions in potential profit over the years, all because you continue to ignore your english speaking audience. Plus your international audience for that matter. Please release the english translations for your media Ankama, I am BEGGING you. ### 2/5 — Why? *2023-02-27* Ankama has been letting their fans down for years. Why wouldn’t you have an option to change the language but say it’s in English? Everything this company has put out from video games, print, animation or otherwise is phenomenal but one has to wonder if the company is ran by French nationalist who don’t care about their fans that don’t parlez vous francais. I have to imagine they’ve lost thousands upon thousands of fans and millions of dollars in the past 20+ years since the companies inception due to the mismanagement of its IP and it’s a shame too because under the right leadership this company could be an international media powerhouse. **Developer response:** Hi there! Please rest assured that the fact that the webtoons are currently only available in French is not a political statement of any sort, we are just run of the mill people with no French Nationalist agenda. :) My apologies that you were mislead to thinking the comics would be available in English from the onset. Their stories show such depth in both characters and world as they show the complexities of humanity through various art mediums. When my friend and I re-got into Ankama through season 4 of Wakfu this app was a godsend! We both quickly installed and would continuity push each other to read the next chapters so we could theorize together. This app is such a good way for the fan base to both enjoy this amazing outreaching story, and to actively help fund it as your payments go towards the story! While this might not be for everyone as it requires patience and money as you will be right up there with the creators as they release new content only seen here, if you are a true fan it is perfect! I am so glad I am able to have such access to these breathtaking world. Also to address some of the other ‘reviews’, there are English options now available on the site and in the content! And season 4 of Wakfu is free under Ankama’s YouTube channel! ### 5/5 — Everything I wanted *2025-06-11* Came for some Wakfu content, got some Wakfu content.
