A much better quiz in the Study tab
• Choose between idioms and everyday words — word quizzes are new
• Fixed questions repeating: the quiz now remembers past rounds and serves fresh ones
• Type-the-answer questions are back, and you can turn them off if you'd rather not
• Changing the quiz language now also changes the question wording, not just the clue
• New "My word notes" — save words from flashcards, quizzes or puzzles and review them in one place

A cleaner look across the app
• Lighter type and tidier spacing make every screen calmer
• Messages now always appear in the same place, and needless ones are gone
• Long clues can be opened in full with "More"
• Vibration and game language can now be changed during play
• The quiz answer box is easy to see, and you move on when you're ready

Friend features are safer now
• Profiles and friend lists can only be changed by their owner — we moved this to the server
• A gift can only be accepted or declined by the person who received it
• Report details are no longer readable by anyone else

Fixed being unable to leave a game
• Pressing back during a game showed no confirmation, so there was no way out. That is fixed
• The offline banner no longer blocks the buttons along the top of the screen

Idiom quiz now works in English, Japanese and Chinese
• Read the meaning and example in your language, then pick the Korean idiom
• Choose the quiz language in the Study tab

Typed questions have a scratch-off letter hint
• Each syllable sits under its own cover, so you can reveal only as much as you need

Earn hints every time you watch an ad
• The once-per-stage limit is gone

Vibration can be turned off separately
• Typing vibration and effect vibration (correct answers, level-ups) are now two switches

Every word now has English, Japanese and Chinese meanings and examples
• Turn on translation display in Settings to see them under the clue

### 1.3.4 — 2026-08-23

Deleting now works the way you would expect
• When you clear a letter, the cursor stays in that square. It used to jump backwards, so your next letter landed in the wrong square and wiped out a letter you had already solved
• Press delete again on an empty square to move back. That square's letter is cleared on the press after that

Journey difficulty actually ramps up now
• Stages 6 through 19 were effectively all the same difficulty. Each band now gets steadily harder
• Fixed five-letter words turning up in the "very easy words" of stages 1 and 2
