With KrowdFit you connect the fitness trackers, wellness and mindfulness apps you already use. Continue to be the healthiest version of yourself, while KrowdFit tracks and rewards the effort you make. 

We work with your Apple Health data as well as the most popular trackers and apps. KrowdFit uses the logs from your daily activities and automatically enters you in our weekly, bi-monthly, monthly and quarterly drawings.

I’m not sure if I like it, I got this through my employer but only my steps and my exercise minutes show not my logged meals or my mindfulness or sleep log and I’m not sure why is that when I have everything connected with my Apple health. Not sure if I like it.

If you are not using the Watch then there are some specific apps which work. Meals can be tricky because many meal loggers just send calories consumed to Apple Health and don't include the "meal" data. We recommend MyFitnessPal which connects both through Apple Health and Directly.

As of the most recent update, my app will not stay in dark mode no matter what I do. I’ve tried logging out and back in, deleting the app and redownloading it. I even tried reaching out to KrowdFit support with no response. Very frustrating.

**Developer response:** We did have this problem on the Android platform, which was fixed on 4/17. We've not had any support cases reporting this problem on the Apple Platform. Maybe give it another try?

I “won” $125 in a drawing. After several weeks, I received a check for $125. The bank returned it due to “insufficient funds”.

Krowdfit is a deeply revolutionary company doing incredible things for the masses. History will remember these people: leaders, innovators, inspirers. Truly a group to put up with the likes of the Red Cross and the Framers in terms of impact on the world. I hope to see my investment grow 300-fold.

Linking everything to Apple Watch either lags or doesn’t seem to update. Checking stats seems to reflect accurate numbers only on certain days and not all- even with a daily synch. Still not sure how to log meals or do a broad search to add Krew members from my team.

My employer is enrolled in Krowdfit and I like the concept, but it’s poor execution. The app is buggy and for example yesterday I skied for 6 hours and synced my watch before bed and krowdfit shows 0 mins of activity. This happens regularly. Since the core functionality is syncing with fitness apps, it’s pretty disappointing.

**Developer response:** Sorry our app experience let you down. Our core functionality is offering motivation for the effort you make to live a healthy active lifestyle. We rely on the data your fitness apps and trackers share to know when your making that effort. Unfortunately, it's not always perfect and in this case that caused us to miss the mark. 

We rely on the data third party apps and trackers share with API partners and Apple Health. If your device is writing heart rate and GPS distance we may not get it. If your app calls a workout or exercise minute something unique we may not get it. We do our best to reconcile as many apps and devices as we can. If you would like to reach out to support@krowdfit.com with the type of app or tracker you are using they might be able to help you understand what we see on our side.

I’ve had this app for a week and it is awful! I exercise every day - this app never syncs with my trackers. I have actually gone to the tracking section & pushed sync-it says refreshing…..but it never does. Deleting it, no use taking up space on my phone with it.

**Developer response:** Thanks for reviewing, in addition to getting data from Apple Health we also receive data directly from MyFitnessPal, Fitbit, Garmin and Misfit. Each device or app shares data a little differently, but we level things out by only receiving data detected and validated by a device. This seems to be a very poorly-developed app with a lot of bugs.

- It is missing data from my Apple Watch/Apple Health app about 50% of the time.  I understand that the app will not refresh when background processes are turned off.  But supposedly (according to the Krowdfit website anyway) it will look back 48 hours for missing/updated data, and that clearly isn’t happening.  If the app can’t track my steps and exercise minutes correctly, it’s completely pointless.

- Probably 80% of the time I get a blank screen and have to force close/restart the app.  Not a huge deal, but further proof that the app has some basic flaws.

- A minor issue, but I don’t understand why Krowdfit requires a third party app to track sleep data from Apple Watch.  I’m not a developer, but it seems like it should be reasonably simple to pull sleep data from the Apple Health app just like it does with steps and exercise minutes.

I downloaded this app because it’s tied to my employer’s health rewards program.   The many bugs and glitches are quickly making that a moot point, because I won’t be “meeting” the criteria for any rewards with such inaccurate data. 

Given that many employers are PAYING for the use of this fitness rewards platform, we should, at the very minimum, have a functional app without constant glitches.

We have also added a look back in our most recent release which helps you see what we see from Apple Health (and other trackers). It will still only look for data "detected" by the watch or phone and not entered or logged by the user, but it might help clarify some details.
