The radar I like better than others from Shreveport. BUT the storm tracks have been on this weather app since had an iPhone 4 — who rushed this out to the public? This app has been important when unable to watch local (Shreveport) TV. I would gladly pay for option of no ads. Please consider making this an option if your customer desires. No longer a choice. I get that you need the advertising but on this version it covers up important information making the page useless. Haven’t had accurate radar view since the update. This is very unfortunate because we live in an area known for tornados and hail/strong wind. I don’t need an alert from the app to tell me that the meteorologist is going to tell me about the all of good weather later. Everyone has the weather app to learn about bad weather. No one wants notifications about good weather or to preview the newscast. Not enough “real”information. ### 1/5 — Inaccurate Weather Predictions *2025-03-09, version 5.17.511* I finally deleted this app after having it for years due to the inaccurate weather predictions, it was misleading. I have to travel long distances for work and this app just lead me wrong way too many times when it comes to the weather. I just gave up on it and will use my apple weather app and KTBS weather app from now on. I was more than happy with the one or two adds but now it is way to many can’t even look at the 10 day forecast with out it lagging and crashing due to to many adds. My favorite to use for weather. But the last year or so, the radar has not been accurate. Today the weather cannel app shows a severe thunderstorm headed our way and the KSLA weather app doesn’t show anything headed our way. So disappointed for so long time. None of my other weather apps do this. Also the radar portion takes forever to load and run. Alert notifications have stared lacking. Have literally been in tornado warned areas, verified by other weather apps and weather radio and never got a notification from this app. It used to be better in this particular area. Have the most current version of this app with all notifications on and location tracking and it still misses most, if not all alerts. It is constantly running in the background. I checked my battery status and the background processing had been running for 2 1 HOURS. It drains my battery in a day.
