I click on the icon, the splash screen comes up, then turns to black and kicks me out. Never mind, I just saw the update button on the app in the App Store. Updated, now ez pz. Editing to add: this is my favorite local news source, I understand they need to make money to operate, but I'm drawing a personal line against pervasive video, ads, and media. Two weeks in a row the Aggies won, and Utah and BYU lost. There was not an article this week. It was a huge win for the Aggies because it secured their #1 spot in the Mountain West, but not a word on their game. But there were more than 1 article on the Utes and BYU, and they lost that week! There are other teams besides those two. 👎🏻 ### 1/5 — Devs don’t know what they’re doing *2026-01-25, version 7.111.0* When I want to listen to an audiobook or music while reading the heavily GOP-biased news provided by the LDS Church owned KSL, I am constantly disrupted by an app the overrides my audio. Really? It’s a GOP-biased news app meant to provide written content. In what world do you have any right to interfere with my audio? Today is the day I erase this app and use something with more honest and ethical reporting, more experienced developers, and less invasive practices. ### 3/5 — Too many notifications *2026-01-24, version 7.111.0* The new Daily Brief notification in all caps every morning means I turn off all KSL notifications. Which is too bad because I don’t mind the breaking news or occasional interest story notification ### 2/5 — Keep moving to the left *2026-01-20, version 7.109.2* I used to like KSL and it seems both media formats that you have moved to far to the left. Obviously plenty of other people are able to post comments, so apparently their software is just highly flaky and inconsistent. Very biased and self-serving.
