I could quickly see the map and temperature of the home page. Now it takes twice as long to load and there is no temperature option in the home screen. A ‘feels like’ screen floats by at the beginning but has said - - so far every time which is unhelpful. After that goes by, there is the map and a video option. If I wanted to watch a video I would watch tv. Now I have to poke different options of which current temperature is not an option. I have to look at hourly which starts in the next hour! So basically no current temperature anymore!! 120218 update The above issues were fixed until today. The home page gave a map and current conditions. Now? ........articles. You have to rummage around the weather app to find the weather. 😡. Would like to remove a star. ### 3/5 — Great App *2016-02-13, version 4.1.400* If you live in the area best weather app! How I would gladly pay for an ad free version and a better UI! ### 1/5 — New look/interface is awful *2015-07-02* This app used to be the best in the App Store, I mean that literally. I could open this app and see radar, the forecast and all instantly on one page. It was exactly what I wanted and needed. I've been searching and no other weather app offers that and now this one doesn't anymore. The new look is cumbersome, not user friendly, doesn't provide quick info when opened and not as appealing visually. In an attempt to imitate the awful weather channel app, it provides WAY too much useless info. If you have the old version that's red in color, DONT UPDATE! ### 3/5 — App Developer *2014-11-19* I have been using the KSPR weather app for quite a while on my iPad and a lot of stuff in this version has really tiny print, making the app very hard to read and useless for anyone over 40 years of age. I have produced apps for the app store, and my apps allow the user to change the print and use BIG PRINT if necessary. Although it looks nice under a good magnifying glass, it is useless without one. Basically, I check the map and hourly data at least once a day, both now have small print. I can see how anyone under 20 years of age would love this app. This is an excellent app except for the small print. Will the app change in the future to allow older people to use it? Thanks. ### 2/5 — Nope. Not a fan... *2014-10-26, version 3.1.1100* ...Of the new look. I like the KSPR weather reports generally, but this new app update is not cool. The little boxes are too gimmicky and hard to work with, especially if I really need a couple of specific things. Guess I'll be using the weather channel app or (gasp!) ky3 or kolr for my weather until they make this one function with some common sense. ### 1/5 — Please update *2014-02-06, version 2.7.2* This app use to be pretty good but now they never update the forecast. I can watch the news and KSPR has changed the whole weeks forecast but not the app. It can take days for them to change it. A problem I have is that when I try to watch the videos on the app, there is no sound. Makes it hard to see the rain or storms coming in. Also, it looks like I children's map you would see on the wall in a class room. But I don’t need to know that it’s going to be sunny and 80degress at 2:00am in the morning . And a certain meteorologist wakes me up out of dead sleep and tells me about a Lightning warning when I can already here it. Doesn’t work now, won’t open, Earthquake option for an Alert hasn’t been available for quite awhile. App will not open on the newest iphone. The new home screen is horrible and it constantly says it can pull up my location and that it has timed out. That’s just when I first open and then it takes so long to even load the home screen. However, when I have selected "use current location" even though I'm in the middle of Springfield, it says I'm in Highland, Mo. I have to manually switch it to Springfield every time I use the app or else I prepare for an inaccurate forecast. This is the only app that has access to my location that says that I am in Highland so I know it's not an issue with the locator on my phone. I have never had this problem before in about two years of using this app, so I'm sure that it is just a bug with a recent update. But you guys can't fix what you don't know so I thought I would bring it to your attention!
