## What is KtG?

HOW IT WORKS:


We all have a love bucket inside of us and your partner is the faucet. In the beginning, your partner was filling up your bucket by doing and saying all the right things. However, over time they turned down the faucet and started draining your bucket by doing things you don't like. Over time, your full love bucket became lower and lower until it became dry and that's when couples start to fall out of love. This app for couples is designed to reverse that! It will train you on how to open up your communication to start filling up your partner's love bucket again. As love buckets get fuller conflicts decrease because love promotes grace. The opposite is also true. As love buckets get lower conflict increases. 


THREE PHASES YOU'LL EXPERIENCE:


There are three phases you'll experience with this couples app to improve your communication. First, you'll learn what your partner's fillers are that they need to feel loved and what the drainers are that you do that makes them feel negative toward you. Second, you'll slowly learn how they are defining their fillers and drainers. For example, they may list affection as a filler but it may take time to learn what type of affection they desire most. Third, you'll slowly start changing your behavior to maximize their fillers and minimize the drainers. If couples are intentional, it usually takes 8-12 weeks to get their love buckets filled consistently. Changing behavior in relationships can be challenging. However, this couples app will help through regular communication on how well you both are doing filling up one another's love buckets. It also provides accountability through weekly feedback so neither partner backslides in their efforts.

KtG is developed by Licensed Psychologist Dr. Wyatt Fisher who has a Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. He specializes in couples counseling in Boulder, CO. He's also the host of the Dr. Wyatt Show podcast and author of the Total Marriage Refresh book. 


SUBSCRIPTIONS:


KtG provides a free two-week trial for couples to try the app. After that, only one subscription per couple is required for full access. Full access includes the ability for couples to give and receive feedback on how well they filled up their partner's love bucket. This is essential to improve the communication in your relationship. In addition, you'll be able to see your progress charted over time on each filler and drainer to determine if you're improving. All of the articles and resources within the app are always free. Subscription options include monthly, six months (15% discount), or twelve months (30% discount). Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of your subscription date. However, you can turn off auto-renew at any time within your account settings.

It’s complicated to find out what your partner answered and what are you supposed to do . 
Not very user friendly

Was very hopeful and excited for this much needed tool, only to find that the design is ridiculously simplistic and the function to “add a partner” doesn’t even work. Don’t bother.
