Never the fronts equated with the highs and lows nor the fact that sometimes they are stationary. Weather forecasting 101. It SHOWS ten times more than the guessing radar for LONGER TERM forecasting. I’ve never never never heard one person say the “dew point” is high nor “low today”. Junk that for the common good known as humidity. Frankly dew point is a confusing scientific meter logical term that sort of makes weather people appear arrogant and if you ask the person on the street, “What is the meaning of dew point”? You get crickets or deer in the headlights staring out into space. Lastly how many viewers percentage wise have friends or family on the east and west coast? I’ll suggest it is high. SOOOOO why don’t we see a national map instead of a 200 mile wide or the 600 mile wide view only? Or so, so many times? And last to lastly don’t tell me there isn’t enough time because in each hour weather is likely given four times. Yes weather is important but if you listen to each forecast in each segment the same stuff you put out is said two to three times. Follow my above suggestions, be true leaders in the field, use your technical skills and computers but don’t give up time tested accuracy and nothing wrong with a little simplicity. Thank you for this opportunity. I’ve tried a long time to get these time tested techniques requested of Chanel 4 but perhaps only once out of a half dozen did I at least get a “canned “ thank you.
