Now for 6 months; commercial timing off track and goes over/overlaps program. I then have to go back to the main page, which means I have to watch ads all over again, missing content in the process. Please fix these glitches! ### 2/5 — Best News Deserves a Better App *2026-05-05* KTLA morning news is the best, but trying to access the live stream from the app on my phone is terrible. The app stops misreport to show a “reload” message, but it never resets. Instead I have to close and reopen the app. That means I have to watch the same Toyota ad over and over again. This happens every morning, and today I finally gave up and turned it off because it happened seven times. We don’t have those problems on Roku, but the phone app is very frustrating. Never could get it to work correctly today. ### 2/5 — Audio Issues *2026-04-17, version 505.0.0* Lately the audio has been going in and out a lot. I tried redownloading the app but still has that issue . ### 2/5 — Select ads and numerous article typos *2026-04-03* So one of the recent problems with this app is a reoccurring, sometimes several times in an article, ad for a kava root drug. You don’t even have to click on it…just a mere touch or swipe down around it will take you to their website (which is for a 21+ year old adult drug product restricted in sales in several Calif counties)…which is basically an opioid synthetic drug being advertised to app users (16+ year old can use the app). You will have several open internet browser pages when you are done reading the article. The second most recent problem with the app is that multiple articled will incorporate the same phrase interspersed throughout it. The phrase is a bunch of random letter and symbols like “b&s$ap” ### 3/5 — Audio Cuts Out *2026-03-26, version 505.0.0* I use the app to stream the morning news and every single day, the audio will just cut out for a few seconds repeatedly throughout the time I’m streaming. It return sometimes long enough to only hear two words and then cut out again. I’ve tried using other devices and it cuts out on them as well. Yeah right, good luck ### 1/5 — Big Hassle to watch in app *2026-01-23* I’ve had the app downloaded on my iPad for years and now in order to continue watching ktla news I have to create a new account every day go to my email and click on the link. First of all, why do I need a link to take me to the Internet to watch the news when I downloaded the app? The link doesn’t work half of the time and it takes to the internet and not the app. Whatever you guys intended to do is not working and it’s a big hassle to even connect to the news now. I hate to look for another option, but this is a big hassle, the app is useless now. I don’t have time to sit there and try to fix it and create a new account every day just to get the link to watch. I finally got it on Roku but without electricity I want to be able to access it on my iPad and iPhone. It's not happening. When Mark became sick I felt sad that the key that held the team together with his humor was deeply missed but glad when he returned Today’s ktla team is very professional and entertainment Sam can as we know.
