## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Scores are completely off

*2026-01-07*

I was using this app for about two weeks with the Apple Watch paired with the H10 polar strap, and the scores were completely opposite on how I felt.

I also was also trying Elite HRV and Sleep2. They were much more in sync with my readiness after good nights and bad night of sleep and stress.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about your experience. Readiness scores can sometimes feel inconsistent during the first couple of weeks, as the app needs enough data to establish your personal baseline. After a few weeks of regular use, the scores typically become much more accurate and reflective of your true recovery and stress levels.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t pair with sensor

*2025-09-27*

Doesn’t pair with sensor. Said to use the Polar H10. Paid over $100.00 for it and cant get it to work with the app. Works with other apps. I was really looking forward to trying this out too.

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear about your experience. Please contact us at support@kubios.com, so we can help you resolve the connection issue with your sensor.

### 1/5 — Lost everything

*2023-06-30*

Looks like a day or two ago the app lost my registration and now I have lost all of my data. Not too happy.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t pair with HR sensor

*2023-02-12*

I have a polar H9 heart rate monitor, which should absolutely be supportable given that they support the H 10 and the only difference is that the H9 does not support off-line (unpaired) use. Since this app is receiving the data live, that’s not an issue, and there is no difference between the two monitors otherwise. so my guess is that there is a bug, when you go to the settings, page to try to pair the monitor, it just shows a blank screen. It says my sensors and other sensors and no entries whatsoever. I’ve tried all the different approaches that they recommended on their website and it does not work. If this is fixed, I’d be happy to update my review.

### 1/5 — Measurements fail

*2022-11-25*

It constantly fails to measure the HRV for me. I am using a Wahoo TICKE chest strap, and despite a successful measurement, it fails in analysing the data.

### 3/5 — Help

*2025-04-21*

I want to use this app, but I can’t seem to register. How to register? Is this app still supported?

### 3/5 — Reliable but limited use

*2023-04-27, version 1.2.7*

The readings of the app are fairly consistent each day. Not all measures of the software are available in the app and only a handful of historical charts are available.
It is impossible to export your data to use it in other apps. I'd like to have an export with the calculated metrics to import to Golden Cheetah for sport readiness analysis.
I'd also like integrations with Garmin, for example, to sync sleep or exercise data.

### 4/5 — Tweak UI

*2025-12-17*

Interface for the mobile app needs to have the option to utilize the dark mode. Or at change it to a a dark background

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback.

The Kubios mobile app does support Dark Mode. The app follows your phone’s system appearance settings, so please make sure Dark Mode is enabled in your device’s system settings and that you’re using the latest version of the app.

If you’re still unable to enable Dark Mode, please contact us at support@kubios.com
with your phone model and operating system version, and we’ll be happy to help.

### 4/5 — Pretty accurate

*2025-08-20*

Use this and three other apps with HRV All four can be way different Do sometime of day each morning Mot completely sold on how well they predict recovery. But Kubios seems to be most accurate

### 4/5 — Apple health

*2024-02-05*

How do I connect KubiosHRV to apple health? Does not seem to appear in any data provider menu.

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good app, 2 potential features to make it amazing

*2026-06-13*

I use the iPhone accelerometer-based readiness measurement every morning. I’d love Apple Health integration and Shortcuts/App Intents support. Ideally I could trigger a readiness measurement from a Shortcut and automatically write the resulting HRV value to Apple Health without taking screenshots. But other than it does the job well and for free

### 5/5 — great!

*2026-05-19*

please consider an option to sync with apple health

**Developer response:** Thanks for the 5 stars! We've passed your request for Apple Health integration along to our development team.

👍🏻. Ok. Un único pago 🙏🏼

Gracias.

### 5/5 — Works great. More cautious than elite HRV

*2023-03-31*

I appreciate the algorithm that this app uses, especially when my sole use is to prevent injury fatigue. The only request I have from a programming standpoint is to move the top menu bar down to centimeters so it can be used on iPhones 11 and above.

5/5 functionally.
