## What is KUKO?

KUKO is an alarm clock that won't take "just five more minutes" for an answer.

There is no snooze. There is no off button. The rooster crows, and it only stops when you prove you are actually up.

HOW THE ROOSTER GOES QUIET

You pick your proof on the first morning, and you can change it whenever you want:

• Object hunt — KUKO names something to find. You get up, track it down and point the camera at it. It checks on the spot
• 8 push-ups — prop your phone up and step into frame: the camera counts off your elbow, and only a rep that really went down counts
• 12 squats — same counting, and you need no space at all for it
• 3 math problems — for anyone who is injured, anyone who would rather keep it quiet, and anyone who just wants their brain switched on

Not into the camera, or no light in the room? Both body missions also count with the phone flat on the floor, using the motion sensor, and the math one never needed a camera in the first place.

The problems change every morning, so there is nothing to memorize. And there is always a way to finish the mission: you never get stuck with an alarm screaming at you.

THE CAMERA NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE

When you choose a camera mission, the checking happens inside your phone. No photo and no video is sent anywhere, nothing is stored, and it works with no internet.

THE CHECK BEFORE BED

Every alarm app has the same flaw: sometimes it simply does not ring. Silent switch on, battery saver, a denied permission, the app closed by the system.

KUKO checks all of that every night, before you go to sleep, and shows you item by item what on your phone could silence the alarm, with the route to the setting that fixes it.

Every morning you finish becomes a day in your streak. Close out a full week and you earn a shield: on the day life gets in the way, it protects your streak instead of resetting everything.

And on the seventh day the app tells you something you did not know about yourself: what time you used to wake up, and what time you wake up now.
