## What is Kumsal?

Kumsal is a personal chord notebook for guitar players — your songs, your chords, always with you.

Find a chord page on the web, tap "Save Chords", and Kumsal turns it into a clean songbook page: chords aligned right above the lyrics, ready to play.

YOUR SONGBOOK
• Save chord pages from your favorite chord websites
• Chords stay perfectly aligned above the lyrics
• Transpose any song to match your voice — saved per song
• Auto-capo suggests the easiest chord shapes
• Fix a misplaced chord by dragging it; tap to correct a wrong one
• Add a note to each song: strumming, capo, reminders
• Pinch to zoom; pick a wide or narrow font

BUILT-IN TUNER
• Tune by ear-friendly visuals: big note display, cent meter, string guide
• 8 tunings including Drop D, Open G, DADGAD and Half-Step Down
• Adjustable reference pitch (A4 = 440 Hz)
• Audio is processed on your device — never recorded, never uploaded

SETLISTS & SHARING
• Organize songs into lists: campfire set, wedding set, acoustic night
• Export a list as a file and share it with a friend; import theirs
• Per-list sorting that remembers your choice

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no ads, no tracking
• Everything lives on your device and in your own iCloud
• Free

Kumsal means "beach" in Turkish — because the best songs are played by the fire, right by the water.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-29

• Kumsal now speaks English! Choose your language on first launch or in Settings.
• Save chords from English chord websites with the smarter "Save Chords" button.
• New tuner page in the feature tour; revisit the welcome screen from Settings.
• Many improvements and fixes.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-25

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-11

• Akor hizalama düzeltmeleri: web'den alınan akorlar artık sitedeki konumlarıyla birebir hizalı; satır sonundaki akorlar üst üste yığılmıyor.
• Akor düzenleme artık gördüğün tonla çalışıyor: düzenleme ekranı, ton ve kapo uygulanmış hâli gösteriyor.
• "Son Çalınan" sıralaması daha isabetli: göz atmak sırayı değiştirmiyor.
• Şarkı adı ve sanatçı düzenlenebilir; yeni liste oluştururken tüm şarkılar tek seçenekle eklenebilir.
• Ayarlar'a çift onaylı, yedek korumalı "Tüm Repertuvarı Sil" eklendi.
