They work most of the time. However, all of a sudden this afternoon I am unable to get in. It says there is no internet connection. I tried rebooting my phone. That didn't help. Then I logged out and tried to log back in using my login email and password. That didn't work. Then I selected Forgot My Password. When I entered my email address it said it was invalid. I tried to contact support and they are not available on the weekends. Unbelievably lack of customer service and support. I am writing this hoping they will contact me. Update: login issue resolved in less than 24 hours. ### 2/5 — I’ve had since kickstarter *2026-01-12, version 2.12.1* Worked ok overall until just now, completely kicked me out, lights all blue, says can’t login, when I click reset password and verify my email it said invalid lol. ### 1/5 — No longer connects *2025-10-05, version 2.12.1* This company is very lazy and couldn’t care less and just wants monthly fees. Back door light camera goes black every night its still connect just get a black image works fine during the day I think they are skimping on servers at night. If you like seeing a loading wheel or a black screen the entire time for live feed these are the cameras for you. Get used to seeing Sorry Can't Play Back Recording when you get a event at your door. Also if you want a night security camera better stay awake all night because all the events recorded will be deleted by the company before you wake up. You are better off having a dog for night security. So if you purchased these cameras to get video footage overnight you are in for a rude awakening. Nothing saves and nothing plays back. I am looking into other cameras because these cameras are pretty much useless. The app was great at the beginning but feels like now they have abandoned. There should be a classaction lawsuit for the false advertising for these cameras. You have been warned! ### 1/5 — Don’t buy waste of money *2025-07-14, version 2.12.1* This is definitely the worst camera system ever! If you are thinking about buying it don’t. Buy yourself a ring instead or anything else but this one. I would say 90% of the time the cameras are always disconnected from wifi for no reason. And if you are away from them there is no way to reset them to reconnect. Lame waste of money. They’re sturdy and nice looking 2. You can’t do a simple email Update. You will have to close account and start a new one paying the $120 fee again to access 4 cameras data for a week. What baloney scam is this? 3. I don’t think the app or devices are really that secure. There is NO 2FA/MFA security. When my stalker X has to pick up the kids somehow the cameras stop working. It is hard to tell if PW was changed. 4. They get disconnected and have to go through the process every 5 months at least. After a year only one of the lights gave up, it’s not working and the other light starting to do the same after a few months of the first not working anymore. Don’t recommend this product. I’m going all Ring better ### 1/5 — Worst camera set up ever. *2025-02-26* I purchased this camera security light. Did not get a chance to install for a while so it is now out of warranty and it turns out the light is a flake. It will connect to the Internet and says you’re ready to go but when I go into the app, it says I’m not connected to the Internet. I bought a Wi-Fi extender. Nothing changed. I reached out to support and they’re absolutely no help. There’s no way to put this online to get a firmware update evidently and this is very disappointing that you spend so much money on a light and it’s just a waste your money purchase from a different company. ### 1/5 — Slow *2025-02-13, version 2.12.1* Unbelievably slow loading. Both camera lights have had unreliable connectivity and painfully slow playback. Will only connect to 2.4G networks. Recently changed my network password due to a security risk and I cannot get either camera to reconnect for the life of me. Not only did the doorbell not connect, it quit ringing when pressed! The push button doorbells of the past lasted forever. Yes, it has power, lights up, but app doesn’t detect it. I rest it, disconnected power as instructed. Now I have a doorbell that doesn’t work at all. The office light camera talks, but does not capture video. Tech support says, I need a new one. Go on Amazon and pick practically any cheap off brand camera and it will be 10x better. The app is not good, there’s practically zero support, and the cameras will tempt you to rip them off the wall nearly daily…. Wish Costco would bring them back! *2024-04-24* Got our first Kuna camera at Costco around 2019 and love it! Added two more since. They’ve been difficult to find since COVID affected the supply chain; wish they were easier to find. No complaints about the app—we love it! Thanks. ### 5/5 — I’m a fan… *2022-09-16* I’ve had these cameras for over 3 years and they have worked fine. The reality is that you will not find a camera that is plug & play and will never have issues. First, you will need a mesh internet set up (aka - Linksys Velop, Orbi, etc…). Anything else will have a weak set up. When and if the cameras go offline it’s due to a high electro magnetic field within your neighborhood. These days it’s very doable with 5G cell phones. From my experience if it goes offline reset your internet connection by simply disconnecting the internet, waiting a full minute or two and then plugging it back on. if that does not the trick then delete the app and then re-install the app and re-do the the cameras one by one and you’re set to online status. It can be a pain to do but it should work. It has for me the few times these uncertain events do throw the cameras offline. Oh…. Resetting the power to off and then on and then doing the process I stated above also helps…. ### 5/5 — Best outdoor camera *2021-06-17, version 2.9.0* Don’t listen to the “so called bad review”. These people can’t screw in a light bulb without reading a how to book. Kuna works great, we’ve had no problems whatsoever. The app is very informative and I don’t subscribe to their service. It’s a door bell, Motion detector, security camera, and it’s well hidden. After the update the camera constantly disconnected and had a very low signal. I was about to trash it TBH. I figured it was just getting old. As a last resort, I ended up getting a wifi extender from Amazon. I had AT&T create a 2.4 guest network and hooked my phone and camera wifi up to that extender network. The extender was super easy to install. The camera has been having a good to excellent signal ever since and not dropping connection. I don’t normally leave reviews, but this has helped me so much that I thought I would share it.
