## What is Kurogo?

Kurogo is an AI assistant that runs entirely on your device. No cloud, no accounts, no tracking. Your conversations and wiki pages never leave your phone.

Download the AI model once and everything works offline. Chat from any screen, build a personal wiki, and let your AI write and edit pages for you — all private, all encrypted, all yours.

**ON-DEVICE AI CHAT**
Talk to an AI that runs directly on your device. No internet needed after the initial model download. Your conversations are never sent to external servers. A floating chat panel is available from any screen, so you can ask questions while reading or editing your wiki.

**SMART WIKI**
Organize everything you want to remember in a personal wiki. Create nested folders, drag and drop to reorder, swipe to rename or delete, and search across every page. Pages are written in plain Markdown with a built-in formatting toolbar — bullet lists, numbered lists, checkboxes, headings, bold, italic, and tables.

**WRITE & EDIT WITH AI**
Open any wiki page and ask your AI to draft it for you. The response streams directly into the editor as it's generated. On an existing page, ask for changes in plain language ("add a section about pasta", "rewrite the intro") and the AI updates the page in place.

**GENERATE FROM A LINK**
Paste any URL and the AI fetches the page, extracts the key information, and writes a clean Markdown summary as a new wiki page. Works with regular websites, X (Twitter) posts, Reddit threads, and YouTube videos.

**AI WIKI SEARCH**
Ask a question in plain language and the AI searches across every page in your wiki to find the answer. Matching page titles appear above the response so you can jump straight to the source.

**ENCRYPTED & PRIVATE**
All your data — conversations and wiki pages — is encrypted on your device with SQLCipher. Encryption keys are kept in your device's secure storage (Keychain on iOS). No data is ever sent to external servers. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads.

**SETTINGS**
Customize your name and your AI's name. Switch between English and Japanese. Manage or re-download the AI model anytime.
