You get what you pay for.. I wish there were a 0.. ring doesn’t save data, sync or even charge fully. Back on kick starter. Regretted it ever since. Don’t ever trust this company or its products.

this needs an update sooo bad. the app constantly freezes and the heart rate feature if off by 50 beats during intense exercises. this is unacceptable

So far I’m not impressed with the ring.  It’s not consistent with tracking all the “things”.  Sometimes it will track sleep but not temp or visa versa.  Never pulls over apple health data even though it’s linked.  Hopefully upgrades will come to make it better.

I’m frustrated with the ring - took forever to deliver (1 year late) and now that I have it, it doesn’t record my sleep sessions every night. And there is no support option in the app to ask for help. Buy an Oura Ring instead (which I should have done).

I backed the Kuura Ring on Kickstarter with high hopes, but unfortunately, it has not lived up to its promises. While the concept is promising, the execution leaves much to be desired.

Inaccurate Sleep Tracking

One of the primary functions of a smart ring is to provide reliable sleep tracking, but my experience has been far from accurate. On multiple occasions, the ring reported I had only one hour of sleep when I had at least seven. This level of inaccuracy makes it difficult to trust the data it provides.

Slow and Unresponsive App

The app claims to offer real-time feedback, but I’ve found it to be slow in updating activity data. A delay in syncing makes it difficult to track progress effectively, reducing the usefulness of the device.

Inconsistent Health Measurements

The ring offers various wellness metrics, but when I attempt to take manual measurements, nothing happens. Instead, it defaults to displaying the last recorded data rather than capturing a new reading. This issue significantly impacts its reliability as a health-tracking tool.

Disruptive Light During Sleep

The ring emits a bright green light at night, which has actually woken me up on multiple occasions. A sleep tracker should enhance rest, not disrupt it.

Final Thoughts

While I appreciate the effort behind Kuura Ring, it needs significant improvements before it can compete with other smart rings on the market. The combination of inaccurate sleep tracking, app lag, inconsistent measurements, and sleep disruptions makes it difficult to recommend at this time. With further development and refinements, it has the potential to be a great product, but in its current state, it falls short.
