## What is Kuvox?

Kuvox is a voice-guided stretch and exercise timer for people who already have a routine and want help following it without staring at a screen.

Build routines from the included exercise library or add your own movements. Kuvox announces each exercise, counts reps and holds out loud, handles side switches, setup cues, rest periods, and workout pacing, then tracks your workout history locally on your device.

Features:
- Voice-guided reps, holds, side changes, setup cues, and rest
- Custom exercises and saved routines
- Adjustable timing, reps, sets, rest, and audio settings
- Workout history, recent activity, and streaks that survive a missed day
- Optional reminders generated on your device
- QR/code sharing and backup for routines
- Works offline after installation
- No account required

Kuvox is a timer and routine-tracking tool, not a medical device and not medical advice. Always follow guidance from your healthcare provider, trainer, or physical therapist, and stop any exercise that causes pain.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.5 — 2026-08-24

Rest days and streaks, sorted out.

• A missed day now uses your rest-day allowance reliably. You don't need to have opened the app that day for it to count.

• Going over your allowance no longer wipes the whole streak. It picks up from your last rest day instead, so a busy week costs you a few days rather than all of them.

• Settings now tells you when a spent rest day comes back ("0 of 1 available right now, your next one is back Tuesday"), so you can check before you plan a day off.

• Restoring a backup now warns you if the backup is older than what's in the app, and says how many workouts you'd lose.

• A workout with an unreadable date can no longer zero your streak.

• Text fields no longer sit under the keyboard, so forms can be finished without dismissing it first.

• Fixed a case where the app could get stuck on its own splash screen at launch.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-17

Rest days: streaks that survive real life

Missing a day no longer has to end your streak. Set an allowance of 1–3 rest days a week in Settings → Streak, and a missed day gets absorbed instead of resetting you to zero. Your streak still counts only the days you actually stretched. A rest day holds the number where it is, it never inflates it. Prefer the old rule? Set it to 0.

Streak reminders are smarter too: they now arrive only on the last evening a workout can still save your streak, instead of any day you haven't stretched yet.

Also in this update:
- Pausing during equipment setup or a rest period no longer skips ahead into counting. You return to where you were
- Skip and End pause the workout while the confirmation is open, so you can't accidentally skip the wrong exercise
- Restoring a backup now asks before replacing your library, routines and history
- Leaving mid-workout no longer leaves it running in the background
- Deleting an exercise tells you which routines it will be removed from
- A rest setting of 0 seconds is now honored
- Long-term streak records are recorded correctly past 200 workouts
- New app icon
