It keeps spinning! I have enabled auto lock when I am away from home feature and it is running almost all day in the background which doesn’t make sense. Mostly this is what causing the battery drain! Please fix. ### 2/5 — Gets Worse by the Day *2026-08-25, version 2.11.0* The app has always been a little glitchy, but 18 months in, both locks are frequently disconnecting from the app via Bluetooth with no explanation. This, in turn, results in incorrect lock/unlocked status on the app. Our house was unlocked for hours! The app still struggles with the handoff from WiFi/Bluetooth to 5G, making it impossible to use in the “no-man’s land” between the end of the driveway and the end of the street. Instant Bluetooth error on all devices. Bluetooth enabled and allowed in settings, doesn’t work. Matter just stopped working so had to put the lock in normal cloud mode to use it. All other matter devices work. Lock has jammed twice without any tightness at all. Fortunately have a key hidden which worked easily. On and on. Bad product. And kwikset is increasingly making bad locks. See lockpicking lawyer if you have questions. Frequently logs out, can't connect or jams. If your lock isn't buttery smoothe you will either burn thru batteries or jam all together 2 stars because.. they do offer features I enjoy like proximity lock/unlock. Unlocks when I'm pulling up the drive. Connects to my car play too But I'm constantly nervous wondering if my house is safe. I called. They sent me a replacement sent me the wrong lock, but the replacement would not connect to Wi-Fi consistently. I called and they sent me the right lock and it is having the same issue constantly dropping from Wi-Fi. I keep calling. They keep telling me that it’s a problem with the Wi-Fi, which it is not the because the original lock was connected and stayed connected ### 1/5 — Worse Locks *2026-08-08, version 2.11.0* They were ok but within 9 months they started dropping lock codes, unable to program code, must be in front of the door to program a code (definitely not what I paid for) EVERY TIME WE CONTACTED SUPPORT THEY SAY FACTORY RESET! My son was able to chatGPT how to reset & program for my whole family. It took a bit of tries, but eventually was able to completely reset to erase previous settings & customize for us. And now we can lock/unlock from the app if needed.
