## What is Kya Pehne?

**Kya pehne? Asked every morning. Answered, finally.**

Kya Pehne turns your real wardrobe into a searchable closet, a wear diary, a packing assistant and an AI stylist — all in one place, built for Indian wardrobes.

**AN AI STYLIST THAT KNOWS YOUR CLOSET**
Pick an occasion — office, date night, sangeet, Diwali — and get complete outfits built only from clothes you actually own, with the why: colour logic, occasion fit, and what you haven't worn lately.

**MADE FOR INDIAN WARDROBES**
Sarees, kurtas, lehengas, sherwanis and dupattas are first-class citizens — not shoehorned into "dress" and "top." Occasions include festive, sangeet, mehendi, haldi, puja and ethnic-day, alongside office and casual.

**WEAR DIARY & CALENDAR**
Log what you wore with a photo and a note. Browse it on the calendar, repeat-proof your weddings, and remember exactly what you wore to the last function.

**CARE & REPAIRS**
Kya Pehne counts wears and flags what's due for a wash or dry-clean before you reach for it on a busy morning — and tracks tailor visits from ticket to pickup.

**PACKING LISTS**
Planning a trip? Get a starter packing list suggested from your own wardrobe by occasion, then tick things off as you pack.

**SNAP IT. AI DOES THE REST.** *(Premium)*
Photograph a garment — even while wearing it — and AI extracts just the clothing into a clean cutout, names it, colours it, and files it. No forms, no fuss.

**PREMIUM ALSO UNLOCKS**
Unlimited wardrobe items and AI stylings, up to 4 family profiles with coordinated family styling for shared occasions, the Wardrobe Locator ("the black shawl is in Mummy's almirah, second shelf" — searchable in seconds), and Wardrobe Insights (cost-per-wear, most and least worn pieces, where your wardrobe budget actually goes).

Free forever: 50 wardrobe items, 10 AI stylings, the wear diary, care tracking, packing lists and saved looks — no card required.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-08-26

Small update, real fixes.

AI photo extraction now keeps working in the background if you save and move on — no more waiting on the loading screen. Cutouts crop with a little more room around the edges, so nothing gets clipped.

Item cards: swipe to dismiss, with the buttons reordered for easier one-handed use. Colour tags save correctly. The keyboard stays out of your way.

New: a first-time walkthrough, and an FAQ screen under Profile.

Premium members: existing wardrobe photos without a cutout are getting the AI treatment automatically over the next few days. Nothing to do on your end.

Plus real profile photos, and security hardening under the hood.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-06
