## What is Kyudo Global?

Kyudo Global is a practice companion for kyudo archers. From where each arrow lands to every movement of the eight stages of shooting, it keeps a full record of your kyudo life.

■ Practice log
Tap where each arrow lands on the target to record hits and misses, with automatic hit-rate stats, a spread heatmap and grouping direction. Make a share card in a tap.

■ Live form analysis
Open the camera to overlay a live skeleton and joint angles, automatically recognizing each of the eight stages of shooting (from ashibumi to zanshin). A live tenouchi (hand) view and recorded-video analysis are also included.

■ Learn kyudo
Term lessons from dojo etiquette and equipment names to the eight stages and written grading study, each with vocabulary cards, narrated readings and translations, unlocked lesson by lesson.

■ Video library (Pro)
Upload practice videos, keep them in the cloud, mark arrow placement and notes shot by shot, and review your form.

■ Clubs and attendance
Create or join a kyudo club, manage members, roles, announcements and activities. Check in at practice to record attendance and hours.

■ Gear tracker
Log your own bows, arrows, strings and gloves, with draw weight, purchase date and shot count.

■ Tournaments

What's New

• Shitsuya has been added to yadokoro recording. Arrows that leave no mark on the target, such as a yakobore or a hazukobore, can now be logged directly as shitsuya. A shitsuya counts toward neither your arrow total nor your hit rate, and it does not appear on the yadokoro distribution map. Hits, misses and shitsuya are each recorded separately.

• A new "Other" distance has been added to practice sessions, with free entry from 5 to 27 metres, for dojos without a standard shooting range. These sessions still appear in your own statistics and yadokoro analysis but, like makiwara, they are excluded from club and global hit rate rankings and do not unlock the 28 m or 60 m achievements.

Fixes and improvements

• Fixed an issue that stopped official news from updating. Bulletins from the All Nippon Kyudo Federation and other sources are flowing again.
• Fixed an issue where some active clubs were missing from the discovery list.
• Adjusted the date card in your practice history so the date no longer wraps onto a second line.
• Reordered the bottom tabs: Community and Tournament have swapped places.

Tournament Recorder
From creating a tournament to recording it and checking results, the whole flow happens right in the app.

1. Create a tournament
You can create tournament records in different formats.
・Team: choose men's or women's category, in a lineup of 5 or 4 archers
・Individual: supports up to 100 entrants, and the roster can be pasted in all at once for a full import

2. Recording
The recording screen logs each arrow as a "hit" or "miss".
・Team: shown by shooting order (ōmae, nitama, naka, ochimae, ochi)
・Individual: shown by entry number

3. Results page
Once the tournament ends, you can view the results right away.
・Team: shows the team's total hits
・Individual: automatically calculates rankings, with ties sharing the same rank

4. Individual results page
For each archer, an English image-generation prompt is automatically built from the tournament's real data.
Copy it and paste it into a generative AI along with the archer's photo to create a hand-painted style poster.

5. Tournament list
・Pull down to refresh
・Swipe left to delete a tournament record

Fixed a few minor bugs.

Practice records and review
- Look back on your practice history in a new calendar view, with each day's hit rate and arrow count at a glance.
- A new "My Achievements" page in your profile shows everything you have earned, with new kyudo achievements added.
- A new practice-notes page (your condition and the eight stages of shooting) lets you record in more detail, along with a long-term progress chart and your practice frequency.
- Practice records are saved more reliably. Nothing is lost when your connection is unstable, and records sync automatically once you are back online.
- The hit-rate calculation now excludes makiwara so the figure is correct.

Clubs and community
- Pro users can share practice videos to the feed and receive likes and comments.
- The club board is now open for all members to post. Announcements appear as a clear banner and include feedback from instructors.
- Scan a QR code to join a club directly.
- Added captain announcements to all members (once a day) and a reminder the day before an event.

Other
- The posting screen was redesigned so photos and videos are chosen in one place, and videos can have a caption.
- Fixed the back action on the analysis screen and several other issues.
