For some reason I get logged off and that’s annoying. Signing back on becomes an issue because I failed to write down log-in credentials! Other than that it’s enjoyable and informative. Then asked for but wouldn’t accept log in. Uninstalled and reinstalled three times and it only opened to Home Screen. Didn’t allow navigation to login or anywhere. I’m not talking about the e edition on the browser. ### 1/5 — Upgrade is a downgrade *2022-08-14, version 3.7.0* They recently “upgraded” this app and now: the paper no longer fills the screen, instead of being able to freely size it there is only the time consuming option of hitting the article and waiting for it to open on its own screen and then it only opens in text view so that any charting or layout is lost. ### 1/5 — Latest update is terrible, portrait only view. *2022-07-23, version 3.7.0* Latest update only displays in portrait view. Something so familiar about it having done it for most of my life. I was a bit uneasy going to digital but having moved out of state, I wanted to keep apprised of the news back in the San Fernando Valley. I signed up for the Daily News app and was very pleased to read the digital paper every day with such ease. Clicking on the article that grabbed my attention & it loaded into a very readable page and was easy to get out of it and surf from section to section.
